Pre-orders are now live for the new Justice League – Tactical Suit Batman 1/3 Scale Statue from Prime 1 Studio. The statue features a themed base, and stands at 35″ tall. It includes swap out right hands, with one a closed fist, and the other holding his grapple gun. A Deluxe Version is also available, which features swap out arms in different positions, more swap out hands, and two interchangeable portraits. The two portraits features the goggles on or off.
The Standard Edition is priced at $999. The DX Edition is priced at $1,099 and is limited to just 350 pieces. Optional payment plans are available. Was the only good thing about the movie!
Yeah, the movie is poor, but so is the costume design. Do you really want to look at this? How is this like any iconic Batman you ever saw illustrated? The cowl isn't totally awful like Christian Bale's, but it's still too much like Owlman from Watchmen for my taste -- and cumbersome...! Why can't Batman just look like Batman?
That said, in and of itself the statue looks great, like pretty much everything else from Prime 1.
