IORI YAGAMI is the central recurring character and the initial enemy and eventual rival of Kyo Kusanagi in the early King of Fighters series. Storm Collectibles Announces King of Fighters '98 Figure Line
sweet, always liked playing king of fighters!
This is good news. I was excited to see Figma doing toys for the series, but really hated how generic the Kyo headsculpt was.
Odd to focus on a specific entry in this series (especially '98, which is almost 20 years old...?) instead of just making a general King of Fighters line, but whatever. If they make the Girls Fighters Team (Mai, King, and Yuri), I'll be happy.
I just want them to do a Tekken series. I think they'd kill it.
I'm curious as to how the line will be styled. 98 has a much leaner and realistic look to the characters while the SFV and MK lines are fairly bulky and stylized. I wonder if it's just the roster more than the look and they'll be closer in style to KOFXII/XIII. Ralf and Clark are the ones that jump out the most as looking like normal guys in 98 but are mini-Hulks in XIII. I just want Kim to come out sooner rather than later. I feel like its a pretty safe assumption that Iori and Kyo will be the first two followed by Mai. Not the biggest fan of Kyo's 98 look but I'll cope.
If they add Tekken I don't know what more I could want from there fighting game lines. Maybe Darkstalkers?
Hope they do one of King.
I was looking for to get the Figma Iori & Kyo figures to be released and put them next to the S.H.Figuarts SFV. Although I thought they were quite expensive and I was more attracted to Storm SFV figures. If they are soething like that, I may get both SFV & KoF from Storm collectibles figures.
I have my concern as well that KoF figures won't have many shared parts as SFV may be able to have. Neither the less, I wish they can release Iori, Kyo, Terry, King, Leona, Mai, Billy Kane, Chin & Rugal.
Yeah, I know, some people are like, "no, she's KICKING the fireball out!" but we all know Japan and how people there really think. It's totally coming from between her legs.
Hell, Capcom themselves even tried to resurrect the series and said the mainstream interest wasn't there. Of course, the way Capcom measured the so-called "lack of interest" was bullshit, as they judged it by the lackluster sales of a complication package of the older games that anyone who is a fan of Darkstalkers already owned anyway, so the people who would have bought the shit out of a new Darkstalkers game were penalized for not blowing money on games they already had. So stupid.
I want the goose but I much prefer his modern incarnation.
I just want them to do a Tekken series. I think they'd kill it.
Tekken and Soul Calibur, those games really need some more collector-focused figures. Tekken 3 Jin and Soul Calibur II Nightmare? That would be the best.
And isn't Soul Calibur owned by Bandai as well? Damn, why are there no Figuarts of these guys - are they so unpopular nowadays?
They just announced Tekken 7
Oh man i so want kyo, king, ryo, and blue mary.
Judging by SC's tendency to reuse body molds and parts, this has me so hoping that we'll see Vice and Mature in figure form before too long...
Damn...Storm must have been working that EVO floor hard last night to get all these deals done to announce today.
King of Fighters - Omega Rugal Figure Preview by Storm Collectibles - The Toyark - News

Hot damn...now this was a surprise. I was fully expecting the first figure out the gate to be Kyo or one of Bogards. Instead, we get Rugal. Great character choice. He'll look right at home with Storm's Bipson and Akuma. I wonder if he'll come with his panther?
Given Storm's propensity to repaint, this all but guarantees that we will most likely also get Ura Rugal as well, who was one of the most frustrating fighting game bosses you could ever have the displeasure to run up against. That guy could make MK3 Shao Kahn and SSF2T Akuma blush...
Yes! Now we need Bogard or Geese next.
Awesome!! Great move by focusing on legendary fighting games..
