Both of you can kiss my butt. I literally gasped out loud when I saw that Hasbro was making a White Rabbit figure. I will 100% buy this figure the second it is released.

She's a Spiderman villain with a goofy Alice in Wonderland gimmick, and she's always a lot of fun whenever she appears. She's been around for a while and actually is in the current run of Amazing Spiderman as part of the female Beatle's new Sinister Syndicate, along with the female Electro, Lady Octopus, and a few other female super villains.

Same here. I'm primarily an MCU collector but I will usually pick up the obscure and odd comic characters and she definitely meets both criteria.

Any chance Superior Ock will have bendable tentacles?

Yikes. Please don't pay more than retail for that thing, guys. There's a 1000% chance it'll peg warm.

IF the various Carol figures didn't pegwarm (did they?), I highly doubt a rare female villain that many collectors will want for their Spidey shelf will pegwarm.

Both Targets in my area just put the rest of their Carol Danverses on clearance for 10 bucks, FWIW.

Lately I've noticed that what people see in stores can vary quite significantly from place to place. Obviously personal experiences will almost always differ but I mean the contrast between one person's easy find and another person's no-show has been more apparent going on a year now. There are still some figures that can be pretty safely considered peg-warmers like quantum suit Captain America but even then he was double packed in the case so the odds were really stacked against him. While a lot of people may not care about White Rabbit this doesn't independently mean she's guaranteed to collect dust.

White Rabbit's my number one want from this wave, followed by Otto. I'm pretty ambivalent on the Spider suits, Vulture, and Shang-Chi.

I have no idea who White Rabbit is, but the figure looks neat.

What I want to know is if you can swap the bendy tentacles on to the classic Doc Oct.

I hope the BAF isn't something I want as most of the wave is an easy pass for me.

It is like they are giving us classic Emma Frost piece by piece... it is kinda mildly irritating IMO.

I came here to say something similar. They are using these parts that are clearly Emma Frost and sticking them on any other figure but her lol.

So just like the majority of Legends figures then.

Maybe in whatever dump you live in, yeah. They sell well in civilized places, though.

Easy there, Skip, I like Legends, but it's pretty darn clear that for the majority of waves the few popular ones sell out quickly while the rest of the case hangs out on the pegs for months and months if not longer.

I mean this wave is shaping up absolutely no different. So far you have Vulture, randomly inserted hero Shang Chi, a D-List villain a lot of the internet never heard of and somehow thinks Hasbro is making a DC character by mistake, and 2 technically 3 different versions of Spider-Man. I'm sorry, but what about any of that says "instant buy" to you or to a majority of fans (when even better waves can't sell that well)?

Sadly you're going to be seeing a lot of this wave hanging around, especially at Gamestop or your LCS, and maybe your Wal-Mart if they can move enough of those lingering Kingpin or even Lizard wave figures out of the way first.

In my experience, the majority of the figures sell within a reasonable time. I'd say on average only 2 figures out of a wave will linger at retail for months (or even years). Truth be told, I'd say shitty distribution contributes to pegwarming more than character popularity. For example in my area (Washington D.C.), Targets and Wal-Marts are heavily stocked with Infinity War wave 2 figures. That would be great if it were 2018 when this wave originally came out. But back then, I couldn't even find them at most brick & mortar places so I got them online. I'm guessing a lot of other serious collectors did the same. So now that the wave is back in stores, the hardcore collectors already have them and the casuals don't have a lot of interest in figures from a film from last year.

A lot of Wal-Marts in my area have the Cull Obsidian wave but also a ton of X-Men Warlock wave as well. And those were both arguably pretty good waves and selection of figures, but I guess unless you're living in @Dolemite's toy Utopian civilization where every figure is desired and always moves quickly to leave plenty of space for the next wave, it doesn't matter that the wave is deemed good or not. All the people who shop there simply don't need a disco Dazzler or the others and just want to buy the Jim Lee Cyclops.

But again, that's a problem with the majority of the waves, they all have slow movers, some more than others, and is not a sign that White Rabbit is objectively a terrible pick because she's likely one of the figures in the wave that will still hang there unsold after someone already quickly bought up the Vulture.
