Time for a double header! Today we are taking a look at two different items recently released. They worked together so well that I just ran galleries for both at the same time. The figure is S.H. Figuarts Cowboy Bebop Spike Spiegel. Cowboy Bebop was one of the few non Dragonball anime series I was into and when Tamashii Nations got the license to celebrate the 20th anniversary I was hyped. Spike doesn’t disappoint either, capturing the look from the show while keeping a great range of articulation.
The second angle in this session – the Extreme Sets Building 4.0 diorama. This is part of their Multiverse Wave 7 offerings, all of which are really solid. Building 4.0 is a two story setup in a mainly square format featuring store fronts and alleyway like walls with pre-cut doorways and even a set of stairs that go into the building. The second story is a bit smaller than the first, with a brick focused set of walls. Either can be displayed as a square building or opened up to work as just walls. Another new and welcome feature – signage that extends out from the buildings, both featuring Asian writing. When using these in pictures, in post processing, you can easily light these things up and make them look like neon signs.
All in all, both items, Spike and the ES Building, are great, and worked great together. Read on to check out over 50 HD images of them both. Spike comes courtesy of Bluefin Brands and Tamashii Nations while the Building 4.0 comes courtesy of Extreme Sets!

Absolutely amazing photos!! Did you rig the diorama with lighting, or is it added in post?
Thanks!
I blasted light at the buildings / figs, there is a light inside the building with the steps for that part. Light behind doors so it spills out onto street. The signs were brightened in post to look lit up tho.
wait, the set is just cardboard? WOW. You made it look like a million bucks.

- there are shots of the BG in normal lighting, no artistic manipulation. The stuff with the colors is manipulated, meant to be artsy. I try to show it both ways, as I buy this type of stuff specifically because I know it can be manipulated well. Others buy it because they want it to look good in a collection room with normal lighting. Both are legit ways to look at it IMO.
More spectacular stuff. but please give the 1:18 scale collectors more love with your incredible products!
hanging light sign is upside down.
CCC.
wow, those lights effects are insane. Well done!
The sets look awesome!
A smaller version of the Building 3.0, and a 1/18 Deranged Alley, which IMO is one of their best sets.

I started shooting the 1/18 stuff already too...
Wow. This set gives the NECA diorama a run for the money, and is just cardboard! Sweet jeebus!
Dropped a look at the Sewer 2.0. I used this in the Mattel Killer Croc shoot also, but this is a look at the set in particular.
