He has contemplated leaving the clan, fearing that it is no longer an organization of honorable assassins.

Let the Cyber Ninja era begin!!!!
Instant buy. Love me some cyber ninjas. Hopefully this drops in 2019.
That said, what's the bet we get a cyber sub zero in MK3 style as a con exclusive. If we can get Rain and Ermac in MK2 outfits despite not appearing until MK3 then anything is possible. I'm also betting that we get Chameleon and/or Tremor in MK2 or MK3 style as con exclusives.
Yeah Storm usually does 1-2 MK exclusives the last few big Cons, so I'm sure they'll do something for SDCC.
This looks good. Still need to pickup Baraka but will get this at some point as well.
As far as con exclusives, you would think since they always have 2-3 they will again.
But I would think it would be things we have seen already. Prolly the MK3 Sub Zero, Mileena & Kitana?

Someone needs to inform Storm Co how previews should work lol. Everytime it never fails they release a teaser preview image, just to release the full details a few hours later. LIke ummm wut? Release the preview a few days before or something.
Anyways minus my complaining, this does look awesome! That net effect just brings back too many memories. I will be getting this for sure.
You know how everyone bitches about how Storm milks the MK ninja mold? You won't hear me bitching if they start milking the MK cuber ninja mold, that's for sure. Cyran, Sektor, Smoke, Cyber Sub-Zero...give me 'em all!
Why stop at only the cyborgs that were in the game? Noob-Smoke Combo pack where they are both Cyborgs, Cyber Rain, Cyber Reptile. Milk that mold for all it's worth!
Good point, lol. It's like the current movie trend of releasing a 10-second teaser trailer for a 30-second teaser trailer.
Can't say that I'm a fan of the Cyber Ninja crew (I always found their popularity to be rather aggravating considering how top tier they were in many of the games. Those bomb traps Cyrax had in MK9 were infuriating...) but I'd gladly take a Cyber Reptile if they ever featured him. I was actually bummed he never became a playable character outside his appearance in the challenge tower in MK9.
this is Fire...
will purchase the second i can (which will probably be NYCC)
Looks good. Not a big fan of MK3, but it does look impressive.
damn, how much for just the green web lol
BBTS put up an exclusive version of the figure that comes with an add on to the head for the helicopter fatality. I guess I'll be ordering everyone of these from them if they're getting exclusive parts.
Shame they didn't give him any bloody clip on "oil" effects...
UPDATE: switched up pre-order and changed it to BBTS.. them sneaky suckaz...
I actually totally forgot BBTS got the exclusive bloody Baraka, which wouldn't be too unusual except it comes with exclusive green blood parts. I didn't think of that at all as something going forward.
As an aside, anyone else bothered by this price creep now on the MK figures? I know Storm's Street Fighter figures have been pricier but Scorpion and SZ were $49.99 like 2 years ago? MK3 Scorpion and Baraka are $70 and the regular Cyrax is $75.

Honestly I think I'm fine with just the standard version. Might wait for a price drop though or look around first instead of dropping $70.
Holy mother of fuck. Greatest accessory EVER, aside from the teddy bear that NECA's Ultimate FvJ Jason is coming with.
On the topic of Storm's prices creeping up...it's not just Storm. It's been a trend of the industry these past few years as plastics and production have just become more expensive overall. For example, NECA's figures have jumped from 19.99 to around 29.99, (depending on the line,) and Hasbro experimented with a higher price point on their Marvel Legends with the 10 year Studios Line, which saw the figure prices jump to about 25 bucks a figure, with no build a figure pieces.
So does the bbts cyrax come with the regular non fatality hair piece too?
Or is the bbts a permanent fatality figure?

I’m ok with the price increase if that means the materials quality increases. My subzero broke easily at the shoulder with just a basic arm rotation. If it was a $9 Hasbro figure, no prob. $50? Unacceptable. I preordered some of their “new body and joints” figures from street fighter, but if those feel the same as the scorpion/subzero, I’ll be done with the line. Real improvements are welcomed... “New Coke” marketing is not.
