Fans of 3.75″ to 4″ scale action figures will potentially have an all-new line of figures to add to their collection. A new Kickstarter has gone live for a series of figures called “The Unslain“. This line of sword and sorcery figures will stand just over 4” tall, each with their own weapons and accessories. The figures will have over 20 points of articulation. Parts will be interchangeable between figures, allowing fans to come up with their own designs. The group is looking for a total of $118,548 to bring this new line to life. Individual figures can be had for about $22, while a full set of 6 figures can be had for about $129. Check out the details below, and check out the Kickstarter by Clicking Here.
A fierce group of 1:18th scale, highly articulated, top quality factory produced and painted action figures.
(Excerpt written by Vito Delsante from pending comic: The Unslain )
Ikhor, the substance of life. It is more than the blood that flows within our veins, it is the secret of what separates the living and the dead. It is also a powerful magic that can control life and death. Whoever holds the Ikhor Crystal, must first contain and control its power. For centuries, this has fallen to the benevolent Ikhor Order, a generational honour not unlike the Knights Templar. In all of time, only two have turned away from the order; A dark sorcerer with ties to the Ikhor Order; and FERUS, son of the current head mage of the Ikhor Order. Ferus, who turned his back on the order, in search of his own path free of the war against the Agmen. However, Ferus will find out soon that all paths lead to War and he will have no choice but to take his place as the next headmage of the Ikhor Order.
Although these figures are considered 1:18th scale, they are brutes and will stand 4.125 inches tall, with enough articulation to hit all the action poses needed for those epic battle scenes.
All heads and accessories are easily swapped out to mix and match parts.

yoo these look awesome! the sculpts look great, but could do with a bit more female representation. Still, i'm backing it and hope they make their goal. I always appreciate quality figures at that scale
These do look super cool. I especially like Ferus and Ferox
Where's the Conan head?
The only figure I want right now is the female, but she is the last stretch goal at $210,000. I have my doubts about this succeeding, mainly because of the Tariff war going on. Dime Store Legends is already whining about a $7.000 shipping cost increase to fly everything in as opposed to $51.000 if it comes by ship. If it doesn't get resolved soon, it could kill Kickstrters outright. I will have to wait and see how it goes.

Based on other kickstarters, it'll be years before you get these figures. We'll all be dead by then. I mean, the trade war might be over.
4" only?

These look good, but sadly too small for my collection. Best wishes and I’ll pass on the info to those I know that collect this scale.
Oh yeah... and...

I added some additional shots of the prototypes to the story, bigger size so you can zoom in.
It says on their kickstarter that the paint apps on the final product will be closer to the renders than the prototypes, which I think is a good thing.
that figure just screams ka-zar. just needs a different head.

I could see Efferus being made into a custom Druss the Legend pretty easily.

Jason Todd looks a bit different than the last time I saw him....
newest member of the ex-men.
I'm totally getting the badass Santa figure!
They are smaller than I thought, I wanted to use them as gods among the 4', but well...

Updates from Unslain creator on the future of this line if it succeeds.
Just 12 days left and The Unslain is offering up blank figures, gear, and heads as add-ons.

This will not be the first Kickstarter to fail because they offered up the wrong figures first. There should be at least 1 female in the primary offering and 1 in the stretch goals. Holding figures like that hostage to blackmail buyers into getting figures they may not want just to get the ones they do want is a recipe for failure.

That's a very interesting take on things. And here I thought the creators were trying to wring all the figures they could out of the initial tooling and then offer up more complex tooling when and if they can increase their funds to afford it.
But "blackmailing" potential customers sounds so much sexier.
it's a shame this project probably isn't going to be funded, I know they reached out to BBTS, so I suppose that could help if they put orders up on the site in the next day or so. I really would have liked to pick up a few of these.
