Time for another catch up gallery for the S.H. Figuarts Dragon Ball line. Today we are taking a look at the Great Saiyaman, aka (25 year spoiler alert) Gohan. This is Gohan’s super hero alter ego that he was using at the start of the Buu saga so he could help the people fight crime and still have a normal life. It was meant to be ridiculous and it was, but fans can’t get enough of him. He comes packed with his cape, helmeted head, doo-rag and glasses head, standard hair head, Super Saiyan hair head, forearms with and without the costume watch, 5 sets of hands, back peg for when he’s not using the cape, and an extra set of helmet antennae. As you can see, it’s well accessorized. Everything is sharp, with the Super Saiyan head really standing out. The standard hair head sculpt is a bit off, and the cape tech is wonky – the flaps never align right over the shoulders and the hard plastic cape falls out of the peg easily when posing. That being said, he’s still a solid release and worth picking up. The Buu Saga is filling out nice in the S.H. Figuarts line.
