Karate Kid 6-Inch Figures by Icon Heroes
$80 for both of them? Hmm..maybe..
Damn $40 per figure! There goes my idea of scooping up a bunch of these guys as sparring partners for my Kingpin.
These look surprisingly good, but no Mr Miyagi?
How is one of the poses for Daniel's figure NOT the Crane Kick?!?
They look good, but 40 bucks a piece? I'll still get Daniel, but may hold off on Johnny for awhile.
Damn! Really tempted to get these over the NECA ones, but $80 for both? Hmmmm
I think 40 bucks per is very fair. Figures are really no longer 20 dollars. Marvel legends is looking at a price increase. We see the 80th anniversary line doing it....already. Action figure prices are going to 25-30 dollars soon...really soon.
It's less than figuarts and includes tons of accessories. I am also getting Daniel but will hold off on Johnny.
I think their headsculpts are better than NECA for both...especially Daniel.
$80 for both? Su heesh..I guess I shouldn’t be so disappointed at NECA’s recent price hikes.
I don’t know if they want us to think that the price tag is an indication of how good these good these figures are or if nostalgia alone is going to make people snatch them up the second. Fthey start shipping? I like Karate Kid, but not that much and NECA’s Mego line has never been appealing to me so it looks like I’m not getting their offerings or Icon Heroes.
I don't think $40 for figures of a movie not that many care about anymore is that bad.
The photoshopping of the decals on Johnny's legs in laughable. They just put them right over the knee joint in a few pics lol.
The movie is pretty relevant these days thanks to the excellent Cobra Kai series on YouTube.
Hoping they do Mr. Miyagi and Daniel in casual clothes for wave 2. If the line lasts long enough, I'd like to see Kreese, and then Daniel and Chozen from the 2nd film.
$40 each is a little more than I want to spend. Think I’ll buy the NECA skeleton Johnny instead.
Decided to only get Johnny. It'd be amazing if they were to make the other Cobra Kai members from the first film...Dutch, Bobby, body bag kid, etc. Those would only really require new headsculpts.
Icon Heroes Karate Kid 6-Inch Figures Update - The Toyark - News

Finally! I figured these guys for vaporware so good to see this.
Oof, hard pass
They look better than the Mego versions with softgoods that NECA did. I hope they do Kreese and Mr. Miyagi in a 2nd wave.
Yes! Was wondering what was going on with these guys. I think they look great.
Might have to get johnny....the REAL hero of the movie.
Not bad really, if those are production pieces. I'd be happy if I ordered.
As usual no shipping to Australia
New pics giving a better idea. No company has really nailed the face sculpt, but think Icon Heroes got it closest, neutral expressions not really but I think the yelling ones for either of them could be passable. Pretty tempting but will wait. I probably would have bought if it had these headsculpts with soft goods gi. Shame some of the iconic scene/poses do not come through perfectly (the last fight sequence at the end).
I don't think the likeness are spot on but the headsculpts look like good solid action figure renditions of the characters and I like them. The Neca figures had good headsculpts but ended up looking off in the finished product.

The mid torso joint being so high up kind of looks a little off to my eyes. And I think the shirts on their gis are a tiny bit too long. And in some of these shots it kind of flares out in an unflattering way. But those are just minor nitpicks, I'm really happy with these and even preordered Daniel too because I think he looks much improved from those initial pics.
