Hot Toys has announced that they will be producing a line of collectibles based on Hellboy (2019). The upcoming film is a new adaptation of Mike Mignola’s comic series. It stars Stranger Things’ David Harbour as Hellboy, and is being directed by Neil Marshall, known for his work on The Descent, Dog Soldiers, Game of Thrones and more. The film also stars Milla Jovovich, Daniel Dae Kim, and Ian McShane.
The new line of figures will be unveiled “soon” according to Hot Toys. We will update with photos and details once they are available. If you missed the new red band trailer, you can check it out after the jump.
Hellboy (2019) License Announced by Hot Toys
Idk, this movie looks like a bad imitation of the original 2.
the trailer looks good, hellboy seems more serious and darker in this one. he is also more muscular as well. cant wait to see this movie.
Does anyone know if there will be a line of 6 inch figures for this movie, hot toys are too rich for my blood.
I loved the Perlman movies. Did they even try to reassemble some of the original gang? Seeing the new "red band" (?) trailer just makes me want to go back and watch the real deal again.
Hot Toys 1/6 Scale Hellboy (2019) Figure Revealed - The Toyark - News
Figure looks good, comes with a lot of stuffs. Looks better than the movie. Like most, I liked Del Toro's Hellboys even though they were a departure from the source, which I'm a massive fan. So I am interested in this, since the movie bombed so damn hard maybe I'll be able to get this on the cheap!? Though I may go with Mezco's one:12 since its half the cost. Really mostly stoked for the 1000 Toys Dark Horse Hellboy figure.
I woulda sworn NECA said something about picking up these rights, but I guess it was just a small-scale Mandela effect haha
Glad they did a nice full release for this guy, I'm not interested but always glad when Hot Toys branches out, even if it's another comic movie, not just Marvel/DC/Star Wars.
The movie bombed HARD. I wouldn't expect a lot more merchandise.
There was like 6 people in the theater when I saw it last weekend. I have to admit that I liked it(some of the creature stuff in it was really crazy) but It seems to me the tone they went with would've been better suited to something like Doom than Hellboy.
wonder if this will still make it out after the poor showing for Hellboy... I was really excited for the RHINO from ASM2 but I don't think it ever made it out after the movie kind of crashed and burned.
Good thing I still have my 4" hellboy figure from the HB2 line. Sadly, there were only four figures made in that scale, but the Hellboy is awesome and I usually just depict him punching out Nazis alongside Indy and Rogers.
