Interesting to see that Bo-Peep is apparently coming back for the last round-up...

Ugh. Jurassic Park stuff looks like crap. Getting tired of these 30 year old recycled toys. How can a toy line promoting inaccurate designs be toy of the year? I thought toys that educated and excited were promoted. These actually dumb down kids. 30 years ago it was just logical theory about dinosaurs and feathers, today it’s fact.
Hopefully the next World movie is the nail in the coffin for this geriatric series. I say that as a HUGE fan of the novels. The movies have got to go extinct.

Calm your beans, Jimmy Dean. These are great figures that get kids interested in dinosaurs, and I dunno where you got that they're 30 years old but that's definitely inaccurate. At least they don't have some dumb augmented reality gimmick or voice chips that never work attached to them...
Gonna need all those colored Barris Batmobiles too!

Dinosaurs with feathers look ****ing stupid. Besides, there seems to be rather less evidence for their supposedly universal plumaceousness than some people would have you believe.

I agree with Jester, they look stupid with feathers lol.

Wow, is that it?
What's with all of the basic looking DC figurs with little articulation?
And everything else is Batman related.
Does Mattel now know there are other characters like Flash and his entire rogues to get to?

@OriginalFire You do realize it’s a throwback to the toy biz figure right?

1) Very few scientists have made the claim that all dinos had feathers. The evidence has long been there for the small theropods, and some question about larger ones, but feathered sauropods, duckbills, or armored dinos were never widely believed to be feathered. So, for the most part, the JW line is ok.
2) This is the Jurassic World toyline. The toys are meant to be accurate to the movie, so if you have complaints about the scientific accuracy of a sub-par Hollywood blockbuster, go to Speilberg. The toys do what they should - provide a fun experience for kids who enjoy the JW films, and are the best main stream, kid-oriented dinosaur toys in a long time, maybe ever. More importantly to the toy industry, they have been successful. There is still a significant amount of shelf space dedicated to the toyline, long after most such movie tie ins (like Rampage, or Black Panther) have vanished.
Wow. That Batman looks like someone's custom hackjob. Baffling choice to remake the 89 Toy Biz figures rather than giving people a Keaton Batman, but I assume there is probably a reason.
Looks really haphazard though.

What happened to all the Multiverse figures they showed a little while back? Like Starfire, Wally West-Flash, Nightwing, John Stewart-GL, etc. Since none of those are on display here does that mean they're no longer coming? I know Mattel's DC licence is coming to an end so obviously that'd be the reason for the figures dismissal, but still be nice to know for a fact (or as close to factual as one can get lol).

Looking at these action figures, with just a couple of exceptions, am I the only one sensing an emotional disconnect, i.e., somebody just doesn't give a rat's behind?
Is Mattel in any financial difficulty?

Man, I hope Mattel releases that Multiverse John Stewart. Not a fan of the Icons or DCUC one.

I thought they were going to re-release the Spinosaurus? At least they're going to release an Indominus, I hope.

Same here. Lot of the Icons figures were pretty good but I didn't care for their Stewart one either. The Multiverse prototype though I liked. Same with the prototypes for Starfire & Wally. Well Wally to an extent, face could use some work but its the fact that it's a figure of both his new costume & it being an obvious Wally, not just the same ol' Flash suit that you could say about anyone could be wearing.
I'll say this though, while expensive, that Mezco Stewart is sick! Not to mention the Jordan figure. Best GL figure's I've ever seen.

Of course they are! I follow stocks on a lot of toy companies. Mattel had it's biggest loss in 20 years last Friday. C level executives have liquidated their shares already: https://www.marketwatch.com/story/ma...Jh-Dtqwcmk7Yq8
