I can see why their scene was deleted. why is he wearing Earth camo and using Earth weapons?

Meh i like it. We get humans wearing predator gear so why not the inverse? At least it's different. Personally while i think the movie would have been weak either way they should have owned the originally third act. The movie probably would have performed much better had they not butchered the end. Simple fact is having altered the entire 3rd act has resulted in a completely disjointed movie that went way over budget.

Looks dumb. I see why they were deleted...but then again, the final movie was so damn horrible that really, how could this have been worse?

Also, I've seen pics of the deleted scenes, and I hate that all the Predator masks were exactly the same. The thing up until now was that all the Predators wore their own, individualized masks...they were part of their personality. Shane Black's Predators were all generic and identical. It's like the dude had no fucking idea what a Predator movie should be.

Seriously, Black is such a crap and overrated writer/director it's not even funny. I'm so bitter that he's all but killed the franchise with his piece of shit movie.

hm, Figure looks..."normal". Not bad, but not something i would buy either. I really hope that Neca will do the Killer Armor Suit.

    To speak about the Movie:
    It was not a bad one;
it was the most violent Movie of all Predator Movies so far i think.

I can not understand the complains, since it even had a Final Battle in
the Forest, similar like the one in Predator 1
    (Forest, Predator hiding in Trees,
everything that a Predator Fan liked on the first Movie)

I am very very sad that the "good" Predators were cut from the Movie
because i really wanted to see that!

Rumors say: ....the so called "Fans" during Test Screenplay did not like the Fact,
that there are good Predators in the Movie that fight alongside the Humans.

I really would like to delivery the so called "Fans" a Punch into their damn
Faces. Because if everyone has the read the Comics, a true Fan would KNOW
that the Predators are indeed Divided into "good" and "bad" Predators.

I really really want to see a Sequel with the Killer Armor Suit in Action
and some good Predators actually survive all this.

One of the BIGGEST Mistakes that every Director does, in every Movie:
KILL OFF ALL PREDATORS AT THE END OF THE MOVIE, like they would...."deserve" this.

It was a Mistake at AvP 1 (Scar), AvP 2 (Wolf Predator), Predators (Bound Predator), and also AGAIN with Fugitive Predator.

The title says Emissary # 1. i hope that means that we get the other one to. I also like his purple stripes, they kinda go along with the unique features of each predator(their skin colors, horns, whisker thingies on the older ones, dread length, etc.)

Anytime, Scout and Classic share the same mask (among numerous EU Preds). But I understand what you are saying. Since this appears to be a wholy unique mold, I feel inclined to buy one or two.

For some reason and I can’t quite place it, this figure looks off from the behind the scenes photos we’ve seen.

Regardless of the quality of the movie, the designs and new concepts explored were interesting and refreshing I just wish they were handled a little differently.

For example, I would have bought the idea of a Predator Killer armor as long as it was a man made invention and not a predator made one. And the inclusion of Emissarry Predators is kind of cool to me especially if they made it that they were some how being forced to work for the humans and then at a pivotal point in the movie they totally let loose and turn on the humans in order to escape Earth. I also like the idea of people capturing predators and reverse engineering their technology thereby unnaturally winning multiple hunts against the predators, which in a way triggers the Assassin Predator to come to Earth and clean up the technological mess others Predators left behind and to exterminate the Predators who have been forced to assist the humans.

Now speaking on the figure... It’s cool and all, I like it, but... WHY is this an Ultimate release? Someone please explain to me what makes this an Ultimate figure? It only has one weapon accessory another pair of hands and an extra head. This is really frustrating because at this point we’re paying more for less with each new Ultimate NECA release. We are closing in on $30. This is a standard release at best, it’s not even worth calling deluxe. I’m still going to buy it, but dang it if it’s not a little frustrating and underwhelming! Am I the only one who thinks this!

Agreed from the description it needs more accessories to be an ultimate
a firing effect for the gun and the gauntlet blades would help.

I have not seen the movie yet so I may be missing something but this "Emissary" concept is stupid: Why the hell does he need human camo clothes (clothes! for dog's sake) when he's got Predator camouflage technology at his disposition?!?

From what I've read these two were on earth for close to a year at the time of the movie. maybe their armor stank after a year of wearing.

Maybe they escaped from a predator "prison." I imagine locked up predators wouldn't have access to all their equipment. Also human military uniforms would prevent green on blue attacks. It may also be that the equipment they're wearing is hybridised to better suit our environment.

Sadly this is the problem with these terrible movies. We shouldnt have to be trying to explain something like this. It is a dumb concept. So what, did they sit around and take measurements while tailors designed their armor? Who did they call in, gucci? S&W? How do you explain what they are make while keeping it classified? It just shows weak story. They runs these movies of past movies, explosions, and gore. Why cant anybody read the comics, use some talent, write something good based on the source material. Just bums trying to capitalize off old movies and fan loyalty.

All that being said I like this figure because of its uniqueness. Nothing to do with the movie or anything else. It would be a good addition to the Predator collection because it is different. It is an interesting spin on the predator and I am most excited about getting the new molds for the figure. Legs, torso, etc. How long has it been since we had that? AVP predators? Pretty cool concept.
I still dont like the arms, too tiny.

This problem is universal. Aliens, Predator, Terminator, Star Wars etc. It's like the people who write the movies don't even both to understand the established lore then crap all over it. Sadly as this bombed predator will be put on ice for another decade just like Alien. Personally i think they need to convert some dark horse stories into animated films. Would be a good way to keep the budget to a minimum but give us fans something worth watching.

That's not true at all. They're hunters; they care only about the hunt.

If an individual proves to be worthy to hunt alongside them or if the situation demands it, they will acknowledge another hunter no matter the species and take down their prey with them.

The entire idea of "Emissary" Predators who join humans in an attempt to show goodwill or to maintain an intergalactic relationship between their species goes against all of that. A Predator doesn’t mind how they, as a race, are viewed from the outside.

Their quarrels and how they are perceived from a human point of view is only due to how their own ideology of the hunt works. A "good" Predator will spare the weak and defenseless, a "bad" Predator slaughters its own kind. For them, it’s all a hunt; it’s the human mind who sorts them as good or evil.

Which is exactly why the entire concept of emissaries within the Predator society who go out of their way to protect a different species is stupid.

And the whole movie is filled with this kind of garbage sadly. A "Fugitive" who brings Earth a weapon to defend itself and an "Assassin" who makes way for an invasion. It makes no sense at all.

The movie has names attached to it and that is all it cares about. No one ever asked themselves if what they did actually makes sense within the universe the movie takes place in. And I'm not trying to act like Predator needs an Oscar-worthy story or anything, just play by the rules that were established decades ago. Twist them for new, interesting stories, but don’t break them because you think it could be cool.

One day someone who actually cares about this franchise might get a chance to make a new movie but we're not even close to that point yet apparently.

There is no hope for a better film. If it DOES happen it will come out of the blue by somebody who Hollywood throws a bone to with a hopeless movie line like this has become. Something like Deadpool. Went the opposite direction of every single other hero movie.
Hopefully someday somebody does something with it that is great.

Haven't seen it yet but it sort of sounds like Black may have watched that Robot Chicken episode with the hippy predators protesting the hunting of defenseless humans... and then just sort of expanded on it.
