Injustice Bane Figure Preview by Storm Collectibles

Posted on January 28, 2019 at 8:20 am by Joe Moore under DC Toy News, Video Game Toy News

Storm Collectibles shared a preview photo, announcing an all-new figure for their upcoming Injustice 1/12 Scale Figures line. The tightly cropped image showcases the arm for Bane, with he Venom injection gauntlets and tubes clearly visible. The design looks to be more inspired by his look in Injustice: Gods Among Us as opposed to Injustice 2. Prototypes for Lobo and Darkseid were revealed during New York Comic-Con 2018.

We will update with further photos and info when they are released. For now, click the banner image for a larger look at the preview.

I'm all for Injustice figs by Storm Co as they kill all their figs so far, but can we PLEASE finish a line first before releasing other lines? I still need more Mortal Kombat figures they teased and Street Fighter figs.

This is really bad news for me. I will surely fully commit to these and this is bad. I would like to have the ability to be selective but for excellent paint, articulation, design, etc. of DC universe figures? I am sold and will be on the pre-order for every figure.

How many great Bane figures do we have? How about many great versions of the other figures from Injustice? Lobo? Solomon Grundy? Doomsday? The possibilities are endless. I also think we have great character designs from the Injustice figures.

On a side note does anybody think we will see TMNT from them eventually? Predator? Alien? I wonder how those cross over rights apply to their Injustice license.

Wonder if we will see these at Toyfair? Looks like a painted version to me!

Storm's gotta bank on characters that are pretty well guaranteed to sell, so they can make the less popular MK & SF characters. Which means making fan favorites characters from KoF, Fist of the North Star, Injustice, Samurai Showdown etc.

Exactly. Not everyone is a fan of MK and SF and they need to reach as many potential buyers as they can to help grow their brand and give them a reason to dive deeper into these licenses to reach less favorable characters for the completionists out there who want every character from their favorite game.

I'm still waiting on them to do more with Tekken...

I forgot they had Samurai Showdown, did they ever show a proto for any of those? I hope they can add some of those crazy fountain of blood effects they had in the games.

No prototypes yet, they just announced getting the license for SS around the same time as Golden Axe, and I'm with you on the fountain of blood effects

Only thing with Storm is that their time from announcement to release seems quiet long (unless its a different colored ninja ). If my memory is correct, they showed Kitana unpainted prototype back in July 2017. Its closing in on the 2 year mark, and still no release.

At that rate, it will take so long that by the time they release their second Injustice figure, Injustice 3 will be here....

Yes, I’ve recently lost all confidence in this company because I was all in on the Street Fighter line and it came to a screeching halt after a great initial blitzkrieg of characters! Guess I should have gone with SHF as they look to be moving forward at least ( BLANKA)
Word of advice to STORM COLLECTABLES - Finish what you start!

It's actually kind of the opposite...Storm released a version of Akuma, Chun Li, Ryu and Ken within the second half of last year. And going by the placeholder graphics they've shown at their last couple of showings possibly Guile and Sagat this year.

Bandai on the other hand, up until Blanka was shown some people were assuming the line was dead. I get the feeling their pumping all their SHF resources into MCU figures at the cost of some of their other lines, SF and their Kinnikuman line only got one release last year which was a repaint.

I see Storm as THE videoGame fighting figure line- it's not a MK line and a SF line and a Tekken line, etc etc etc... it's a video Game Fighters line... there is no "finishing" a line and moving on to the next game (that would actually SUCK because it would mean we would STILL be on SF because the roster is so big and then when it changed to a new game you would know what characters would never make the cut as that game line-up would be over) I much prefer them randomly throwing out characters from various game franchises.

Yeah pretty much, that's how they're handling it. Every game has gigantic rosters, even if they did the first 1-2 games of each franchise it'd be like 3-4 years of releases just there.-

I know people are in a hurry for these but I for one am willing to be patient. These are $75 each. I would prefer to get these spread out over time rather than being released like Marvel Legends. I am good with them taking their time. It gives me time to collect other lines aith less stress on going broke. If they were released quickly I wouldnt be getting them all. At this pace though I will lolely get most of the ones I want.

I have 2 million ninjas and Goro. Storm Collectibles is pretty damn awesome in my book. The last time I previously owned a decent Goro toy was the GI Joe MK subline. I still have fond memories of teaming up the MK and street fighter gi joes to take over the Terrordome!
