Chronicle Collectibles has sent along photos and details for their first pre-order item of 2019. Pre-orders kick off tomorrow for their Labyrinth – Door Knockers Scaled Prop Replicas, beginning at 3:00 PM Central Time at chroniclecollectibles.com. They had full access to the screen used props directly from the Jim Henson Company. Not only will these function as prop colectibles, but they are designed to function as actual door knockers if you so choose. The Jim Henson Company graciously granted us access to the actual screen-used props so that we could capture the smallest of details in making these replicas. Fans have wanted these for years, so we felt it was our quest to make them as accurate as possible using the real pieces for reference. Collectors will have to add their own back and forth banter though, these are static pieces.Details:

Woof, hard pass. If they were 100 bucks and made of durable plastic I'd be much more interested
damn... too bad the price is so high- but those things are huge! I would love to mount one on the front door though.
I'd be worried about them getting stolen or damaged to use them as real door knockers. But yeah, other than the price, these are perfect. Maybe this company (or maybe Neca ) will produce a cheaper resin version later on. I say Neca cause this seems like the sort of thing they would put out.
