Medicom has released photos and details for their new Aquaman MAFEX Figure from the newly released Aquaman Movie. The 6.3″ tall figure features the comic themed outfit that is seen in the film. Aquaman includes multiple interchangeable hands, two interchangeable heads, a trident, and an articulated figure stand. The figure is scheduled for a July 2019 release. Hmmm, no one is giving him a wet hair look, but, this does look better than the Hot Toys figure, I think I'll grab this one for sure, especially since their QCing has gotten so much better.
Really hoping they go all-in with Aquaman. I'd really like to see them tackle Manta, Orm and Mera.
That second headsculpt does not look great.
I like the hair on the Justice League version better, but I have it so it'll be a simple head swap if I don't like this one in hand.
Faces look great to me but that suit is just so ugly. If they could’ve subtly incorporated accents of those classic colours into his JL outfit then I might like it. I’d much rather a figure of him in his big coat with a black vest and sleeveless option with a bottle whatever he was drinking when Bruce visited him.
Mafex is looking to overtake SHF as my favourite import company though. I just wish they’d give me more Star Wars!
this looks very good but his hair is not wet, looks kinda puffy and ready for a date with Mera. the stomach area is better than the multiverse version. the multiverse has a weird stomach area, too much plastic or something lol
im still gonna buy this, looks sweet.
That leg outward movement is gonna be godawful if they dont hinge that armor.
