An updated Stormtrooper 1/6 Scale Figure, based on the original Star Wars trilogy, is coming from Hot Toys. While Hot Toys did release a Stormtrooper back in 2015, this release features a new helmet sculpt, weathering paint effects, and additional paint adjustments. In new posts, they have revealed a Standard Version and a Deluxe Version. The figure stands at 11.8″ tall with about 30 points of articulation. The regular release includes multiple interchangeable hands, a blaster rifle, a holster, and a figure stand. The Deluxe figure includes those items, as well as a specialized light up LED Death Star backdrop.
The new Stormtrooper 1/6 Scale Figure is currently scheduled for release between the second and third quarters of 2019. Pricing hasn’t been revealed at this time. Pre-orders should begin going live very soon. See full details and new photos after the jump.

An Updated Star Wars - Stormtrooper 1/6 Scale Figure Coming From Hot Toys
I have the first set, but might get this if the price is right; would probably go for the deluxe, the DS panel that came with Stormtrooper Han was pretty great.
I can't tell, does it come with 2 DS walls or is that like a reversible thing?
Snagged the standard release, only $190 which is killer. Like $50 or $60 more for the deluxe just to get the light up base didn't seem worth it to me, might snag that elsewhere cheaper but I can live without it.
The new helmet is a worthwhile improvement, imo. They got it 'right' this time.
Well, I just prefer the revision, with the slightly larger eyepieces and mouth grille positioned somewhat better for a human head to fit inside + see + breathe. As a kid, I remember wondering how the actors avoided more accidents, not to mention hyperventilation. Years ago, I roasted and nearly passed out from trying to dance in one of the full size armor suits.
