For San Diego Comic-Con 2018, an awesome Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles themed Street Scene Diorama (check out our gallery Here) was available as a show exclusive. When announced, NECA promised that a version without the TMNT branding would be available at a later time. Today, they have finally revealed the generic Street Scene Diorama. The set is scheduled for release in the first quarter of 2019! Fans will notice that the city backdrop is all-new, the new paint scheme, and the removal of the WTRL and Foot Clan logos. price?
This is great, especially for those who missed out on the SDCC 2018 TMNT set that had this. For me it's a bit too big and probably going to be pricey ($100 I'd guess) but aside from some Spider-Man and Batman figures I wouldn't get a ton of use outta this. Still, this is awesome.

Kind of prefer the weathering and blacked out windows on the original. I'd have been happier if they just removed the TMNT related markings from the original.
What is the city backdrop--just a cardboard panel? Looks like it has some depth to it.

After the initial review, I just left the cardbaord back off all together on the TMNT one.
How modular is it? I see the AC and doorway are in different places on compared between the TMNT version and this one.
So how big are the doorways? I'm trying to figure out if this will work reasonably well with 4" scale figures. Most likely not, I imagine. =(
How tall is it without the city backdrop?
Wow, very cool.
I must own this!!!
Pre-ordered.
I will make myself own this. Wish they were a bit more specific that "1st quarter 2019'.
I wish I had the room for this. It has a lot of potential.
with how deep it is, this thing is tough to find a good place to put it. Still hoping to unload my TMNT version at the next toyshow.
Maybe I'll just get all new furniture and make the rest of the crib conform to this big ass diorama and not vice versa. Hmmm...

You know I live in a small college dorm.
I wonder if this is a good idea....
@Bo Ttef Barring that, I'm thinking of spots I could just hide it from my wife when not playing with it. I need like one of those hidden torture rooms behind a sliding panel in the closet that serial killers sometimes have for all my nerd stuff.
I would love to get it but I have no where to display it. If I did get it I'd just use it for photos. I would have liked if they gave an open door frame to replace the closed one. I know they don't do the indoors, but to have the function would be great.
Boo! 1:18 scale or GTFO
can this fit in my detolf? lol i know the answer but where can one put this on a shelf?
This looks great, though the TMNT exclusive version is my preferred look. I like the realistic dirty street scene. I do wish the corner wasn't rounded off there. Most streets don't just end like that and it would have been nice to put two side by side to extend the scene. Otherwise, really great. I do hope there is a version similar to that animated looking one for the 80's TMNT cartoon line.
