Star Wars Black Series is all over the place right now with late waves, store exclusives and hard to find figures. Today we are taking a look at some of the exclusives floating around. Admiral Piett is an online exclusive, available at several stores including site sponsor Entertainment Earth. General Veers uses his same base body but adds ground assault gear to rep his Empire Hoth attack look, and he’s exclusive to Walgreens. The Gamorrean Guard came out a bit ago, and is a Target exclusive. There is also a Mimban Trooper exclusive to Wal Mart and Bespin Escape Leia over at Target (which we will look at later, in progress). And that’s just what’s relatively new, there were several other exclusives earlier in the year, including cancelled TRU ones that half leaked out. Couple this with a new Solo Wave that is out, but not even online for Pre-Order and tons of shown but not solicited items at Toy Fair and SDCC, and woofa. It’s the wild west out here.
We are going to try and run some catch up here with a look at Piett, Veers and the Gamorrean Guard. All 3 are OT and well done, worthy of a pick up. While the Imperial ranked officers make sense to litter around as exclusives, the Guard being exclusive is crazy, especially since he’s a troop builder. And awesome. Great paint, fur that doesn’t suck, accessories – it’s a winner. Hopefully he gets a modified but wider release later.
Read on to check out all 3 after the break courtesy of Entertainment Earth!

Man amazing pics as always Tony. The Face printing is a thing of beauty
It took me five months to capture a Gamorrean in the wild!
Thank goodness that I have 90 percent of the characters that I wanted out of this line, because it's become a frustrating mess with all of the exclusives, repacked, and leaked figures out there. While many of the figures are still good and worth seeking, distribution wise, Black Series has devolved into a disaster, and it's really starting to turn me off from the line.
Gamorrean was a tough one to find. Finally found it in CT in mid-September, so I'm glad I didn't pay double the price online. The hunt is part of the thrill, but still....
still not sure why they made the gammorrean guard and exclusive. especially how hard it was to get a vintage collection one. hasbro should have flooded the market with those, because every single one would sell.
I got lucky and stumbled across a case.
And Bespin Escape Leia is up! I shot some of the other figs in this setup too cuz the lighting came out good.

EPIC lighting Tony. Now I not only want the figure, I want posters of this shoot!
Ha, thanks! I've been thinking of offering prints of some of these shots but need to research the best way to do it. No clue on demand so can't go all in printing mad copies in advance.
Tony, you fucking kick all known forms of ass. Great work.
Also, the figure is really well-done. I saw one in Target and the likeness is spot-on.
I'm with you. Tremendous photography. I'm still waiting for the figure, but it looks very nice.

I really appreciate Hasbro producing more figures from the Hoth portion of ESB. It's my favorite part of my favorite movie, and I want all the Hoth figures for a Hoth display.
I have to say that these pictures are REALLY impressive. I bet you could do really well with some prints.
When is the Hoth Leia coming out? We only learned about this exclusive one (which shares parts) a couple of months ago and it's already out but no word on the regular retail figure we saw at the beginning of the year. Her, disguise Lando, and Dengar have just been up in the air.

Hoth Leia, Jabba Lando and Dengar are after that.
Both of those waves will have repacks to fill in the 6/7/8 per case. So expect them to be clogged up in distribution, and/or come and go quickly while the repacks sit.
Stupidity.
Well, the wave before her is in the wild, in-box seen. But no official pre-orders yet.

Star Wars Black Series 4-Lom and Qi'ra Gallery - The Toyark - News

4-Lom and Qi'ra are up!
At one point I wanted to stay up with Solo and be complete, so Qi'ra was ordered, however I've since abandoned that goal.
4-Lom is boss tho.
I said it back when I got mine but it's worth repeating, I freaking love how they handled 4-LOM's eyes (and head as a whole).
I have a question, can you guys let me know how i can get, & when they are out/ud they R out, Black Series Bounty Hunter rereleases mentioned back in SDCC?
I have all the O.T. Black Series but missing EVERY ONE the Bounty Hunters + w.1 pilot Luke. Started collecting when wave2/wave3 was out, (1st n# run/1st pckg) in 2013 IIRC. Then back tracked most of wave 1 after. But my retail chains skipped wave 3 which is what i believe what Boba Fett was & it was nigh impossible to find the rest. Im after IG88, 4-lom, Boba, Greedo.
Vault re-issues are due in 2019, no official date yet. I'd keep an eye out on front page, retailers, starting soon.
keep an eye on “The Black Series Archive ” in 2019,the new package had already shown on nycc, you can check it
