Figure Complex Revoltech Psylocke Official Photos

Posted on August 3, 2018 at 8:15 am by Joe Moore under Marvel Toy News, Revoltech Toy News

This past weekend at Wonder Fest Summer 2018, Kaiyodo revealed their newest Revoltech 6″ scale figures. Included was our first look at their Figure Complex Revoltech Psylocke. A few official images have been released of the Marvel Comics Psylocke figure. The figure includes a swap out face, multiple interchangeable hands, two energy sword effects pieces, and multiple swords.

We’re still awaiting official details. Pre-orders should be going live in Japan very soon. You can see the photos by clicking the headline of the story.

she looks great, totally diggin this. I wonder if they picked her because of her Japanese ethnicity or are they really going for that MvC2 roster ?

I dig it! Hope they do more. Because I'd love to get X-23, and some others like this.

Figure looks good but I hate that Anime face. I hate Anime in general though so it's no surprise. Still, prob will pick up because the articulation looks snazzy.

I like Anime, so I like the Anime face.

That hair is crazy. Is it articulated?

They're wrong costumes, plus it doesn't actually say MVC... It's just not like the Japanese to release something that's "close enough". Most likely these are the characters they thought were cool and fit the line.

a bit too anime for my tastes, but at 6in I wonder if it would be worth it to try a standard hasbro head on her (I don't need the crazy flying hair)

I'm skipping the Hasbro one for this. I dig the anime aesthetic and so long as it scales well with Legends it's an upgrade in almost every way so far as I'm concerned.

With all those extra accessories, you'd think they'd include extra faces for Crimson Dawn Psylocke.

Loving it !!! I am not too sure why people are complaining that the face looks anime-ish. Her face actually looks like how one would normally sketch a face. She doesn't have any roundish big eyes or anything like anime does?

It's not officially a MVC product but you can tell that they are clearly inspired by the games tho. early on they even used mvc2 artwork to announce their venom figure

The hair seems articulated like the standard figma i.e. joint to allow the hair to be lifted up and down, rotated etc.

this looks TIGHT....i see what y'all saying about the face.. but i can live with that.
i might have to pick this up cause the poseability looks sick..

and @Vash...you're a perv.. i 100% did not look anywhere near her nether regions....for any extended period of time.

Maybe i'll keep this Wolverine (revoltech) that i have that was trying to sell and never did...they'll go great together.

The "anime" face is at least based on a modernized adult character rather than the stereotypical average girl. Just compare this Psylocke to her Kotobukiya Bishoujo Psylocke statue. Psylocke here is much closer to the women designs of Motoko Kusanagi & Lady Snowblood than the girlish looks of someone out of Senran Kagura, Keijo, Fairy Tail & so on. I really dig the hair.

Hmmm, very tempting. Would be a stand-alone piece for now, unless they release more 90's X-Men ladies. Then I'd be broke.

Stupid anime face sculpt, but kinda cool otherwise even if revoltech joints are a pain the ass.

Neat. But I don't really like the feel of Revoltech plastic... prefer the feel of Marvel Legends... if that makes any sense.

Very tempting. I'm not normally a Psylocke fan. But that fig is distinct. I'm also impressed that it is a new body. Not the Spider-Gwen one. So yay new female body type.

It's got a bit of a Sana Takeda feel to it. Really kind of dig that. They should consider giving her a Revoltech line based on her style and this. Kind of an 'artist' series like what DC does.

This may be my first foray into the revoltech line. How is the QC on these figures?

I got the Deadpool reissue recently because I wanted to give this line a chance (not a huge fan of the overall look of the joints) and I was positively surprised by the quality. Every joint on this figure is tight, some even have ratchets where I didn’t expect them and the paint work is crisp and clean. I have like two tiny spots of red on a black area but that's about it.

Exchanging parts is super easy to do as well; I have no fear of breaking anything on this guy which is nice.

Hope they make domino, X-23, Gambit, GOTG, Dr. Strange ( since they are into with the capes) and lastly The HULK

Awesome- I may be sold on this release. Hoping they branch out more in the DC line as well. Would love to see their take on Batman Beyond
