How can the 2nd head be an “unmasked” head when it itself still is wearing a mask over the eyes? Lol.

Ok, how about "Less masked" portrait?

Can't believe I am saying this, but now that there doesn't seem to be a new Lara Croft PAK, I might just end up picking this one up.... I've been wanting a X-23 after seeing the Sideshow version at SDCC lol

Just curious, what has made the company double the value of their basic figures? Like did the quality improve that much to warrant the increase? Or are they just trying to milk people?

I'd watch the heck out of an anime like that.

Definitely going to have to pick this one up.

Actually, nothing has improved. If anything, they have gone a bit downhill with some questionable design choices (hollow upper body, Capes with joints in the middle etc.).

Some people think the figure sizes became larger. This might seem true, if one only collected Final Fantasy or Arkham series figures. But if one collected Metal Gear figures, the sizes were actually the same as what we see today. So in truth, the price cannot be attributed to a size change either.

I would love to say the QC improved, but honestly, that hasn't improved either.

So the only reason why I still get tempted (and sometimes succumb) to get them like in this case, is because they match with the PAK DC variant scale figures I already own. There just isn't a similar line that does the same type of figure/design at this scale. Plus, I have a bit of nostalgia toward the line because its the first line I started collecting.

I might get this one...but it'll be the only one I'll own from this line. I skipped out on the Wolverine version but may get it to go with this one.

The only reason I get any of these is because they're of really cool characters. The only ones I still own and display are the DC Variants Batgirl and Supergirl, the Mass Effect 3 Female Shephard, Batman v Superman's Wonder Woman, Lara Croft from the collector's edition of the Tomb Raider reboot, Rukia Kuchiki from Bleach(like my second or third of her, I do NOT recommend the figure, it's far too fragile), and Aranea Highwind from Final Fantasy XV. Some of these were simply the better options for the characters, such as Shephard and Lara, and in the case of Aranea, Play Arts is the only option.

This figure? It tempts me. I love X-23. I'd love it more if there was an actual unmasked head since I'm not a huge fan of the domino mask, but it looks really cool.
