DC BOMBSHELLS: BIG BARDA STATUE
designed by ANT LUCIA
sculpted by TIM MILLER
She may be over 250 years old, but that doesn’t mean Big Barda can’t enjoy the pleasure of roller skating, or more specifically, crushing your opponents in roller derby.
As a member of the New Gods, she’s nigh invulnerable and has been trained as a supreme combatant in both sword fighting and brawling. Featuring her trademark colors and an updated helmet design, she’s ready to pummel her opponents on the track.
• Limited to 5,000 pieces
• Figures measure 10″ tall
• Allocations may occur
• Final products may differ from images shown
• Approximately 6 units per carton

DC COVER GIRLS: MERA STATUE
designed by JOËLLE JONES
sculpted by JACK MATHEWS
Walking on water has never seemed as graceful or glamorous as it does in Joëlle Jones’ latest entry in the DC Cover Girls line! Mera is crafted in an elegant, commanding pose atop a flowing splash of water, which, even in the choppiest of seas, can’t compete with the waves of her trademark red locks.
• Limited to 5,000 pieces
• Figures measure 10″ tall
• Allocations may occur
• Final products may differ from images shown
• Approximately 6 units per carton
ON SALE MARCH 2019

Throughout his illustrious career, Klaus Janson has contributed inks, pencils and colors to some of comics’ biggest heroes. He is perhaps best known for his work on the seminal Batman story THE DARK KNIGHT RETURNS with Frank Miller.
Janson’s Caped Crusader is grizzled, menacing, and vigilant, and this Black & White statue presents a stripped-down, visceral rendering of Batman that will stand out in any collection.

DC Collectibles Solicitations - DC Essentials and Statues

Jesus, that Joker looks like a better articulated Mattel toy for kids.
I don't know what it is, but I'm loving that Joker.
This is the very definition of a split so far.
(Awesome avatar by the way!)
Might be interested in that BATMAN MULTI-PART STATUE, have to see the rest of them to be sure though.
Wow, Joker have thinner neck then Harley and Batgirl, that's just sad. I look at other pictures and indeed Harley Quinn and batgirl have manly necks.
I think that Joker looks atrocious. The coat looks bad, the shoes are wrong (unless this is based on some sort of specific art), the smirk looks unnatural, and the hair is bad.
Also, why do we have an entire wave of just Batman characters? Not to mention ones they already did in the Icons line. Why not do some other ones like Ra's, Talia, Clayface, Mr Freeze, Scarecrow, etc? Or why not do some more Flash dudes like Captain Cold and Gorilla Grodd? Or hell, why not do other figures that were supposed to be in the Icons line but canned like Etrigan, Booster, Beetle, etc?
I like the Joker. I like his face. It has a type of first appearance style to it.
The heads on Harley and Nightwing look really small.
The new Joker figure may be intended to resemble the character as he was drawn by artist Tom Lyle back in the early 90s. Lyle illustrated the origin story for Tim Drake (the third Robin). Joker appeared in numerous panels. The artwork had a unique style. I see a strong resemblance.
Yeah I'm really not feeling this Joker. I want to but I definitely wasn't expecting to be disappointed like this.
He looks very tidy and metrosexual tho.
i wanna get that nightWing
David Bowie-Joker...hilarious.
Nightwing's head is as small as his shoulder and the face is terrible...IMO...How bow dah? lol
Love Harley and Batgirl
Am I the one for hoping this Essential line could be coming with all rebirth designed characters just like new 52 line? I'm really hope for that.
I'm really on the fence with that Joker. I like the more classic look, but it seems a bit off.

Honestly I'm surprised they didn't do him in one of his Rebirth-era looks:
Regardless, he's an improvement over the Icons Joker. This one has 2 open hands! lol
This is what the designer, Jay Fabok, had to say about this Joker:

Not really a fan honestly, I might skip it and just keep using my Capullo Joker. Hopefully if the Essentials line continues, they'll release more Jokers as they often do in this scale.
The others look pretty good though! The first wave came in today and they look AMAZING.
These are atrocious! Those females look uhhhhhh.... manly?

that vest come from an earlier time in fashion when vest were short like that.
you are certainly allowed to not like the look, but they didn't make that look up.
it's not really a "mistake" in the traditional sense.
