    Buzz, your Wonder Woman. Woof!

    What an awesome display.
Not crazy about all of the actor likenesses, but the Aquaman toys themselves are all so freakin' cool. I love the detail on the armor, and holy crap they get sharks to ride on. I hope they keep the line going a bit beyond what we see here, I want more crazy crap like that.

    I'll just say it;

They look better than Marvel Legends.

The Aquaman figures are a lot nicer than their Wonder Woman figures were. Kind of inadequate next to Marvel Legends MCU figures with the printed faces though. Mera looks nothing like Amber Heard.

Yeah, the likenesses are atrocious. Hasbro elevated the bar, and my expectations along with it.
Although Willem Dafoe isn't too bad? He's kind of a weird-looking dude to start with, so just slap a creepy face onto the toy and call it a day. The more I look at it, the more I like it.

No they don't. Not even close. They're also missing ankle rockers.

    I'm absolutely shocked at Mera.

That's not the JL figure at all. Mattel, the company that gives you the same figure three times with different accessories or some minor paint differences and hope you don't care that much is doing a completely different figure for Mera. The only parts sharing is the spear and the water hands. The actual figure is all new.

    Wow.

Also surprised the giant crab guy isn't there. USA Today (EW? Someone) had a reveal and they had most of the above but also a three pack with King Orin, Aquaman, and the big Crab guy in the basic style.

Glad to see Spoiler, I just hope shes not a damn exclusive! Now we just need a Rebirth Tim Drake to complete the Rebirth Detective Comics team!

Edit - it would be really cool if she included an extra head based on her classic full mask look in addition to the current half-mask design

And once again Mattel is years behind their competitors.

Those non Aquaman figures mainly look embarrasing. Terrible sculpts...and STILL no ankle tilts, the most important articulation development in recent memory.

Why does DC tolerate such a piss poor offering from this company? Do they just not care?

Are you INSANE? Legends absolutely DESTROY these! Wtf are you talking about? You can't be serious.

Show me a recent ML figure that looks anywhere NEAR as horrible as these do. They are awful!

It's a conspiracy to force people to buy from them directly. If the mass market options from Mattel are substandard then consumers will be driven to buy DCC figures instead.

I was hoping to see the supposedly leaked wave with Lobo and Kingdom Come Supes but then there's still time for that to happen.

Everyone's entitled to their opinion, of course, but sentiments that these figs are superior to Legends is hyperbole. That said, I like what I'm seeing Mattel. I'll be grabbing Vixen (despite her fugly face), chunky Wonder Woman (me likee thickee ladies!), and the Ray is quite the standout (I've wanted it since first seeing it months ago and I'll be nabbing the variant/chase version as well).

Still have to grab me some Wonder Girl, Clayface, and a that 'Rookie' wave..but I did get King Shark, the modern Supes, and Green Lantern (Jessica Cruz - tres bien!).

    Keep up the good work.

Honestly, this looks better than the Marvel Legends stuff Hasbro is putting out this year so far. A much better selection, outside of the random Aquaman stuff.

Also, wasn't there plans at one point for a Lynda Carter Wonder Woman multiverse figure to go with the Kilmer Batman and John Wesley Shipp Flash? I've seen the Batman in stores, and I believe I saw the Flash online, but I haven't heard anything about the Wonder Woman since the initial announcement. I hope we hear more about that here.

Infinity War Captain America was the worse looking action figure to release this year in any line. The head sculpt is atrocious and looks absolutely nothing like Chris Evans.

Both Marvel Legends and DC Multiverse have some good looking figures and some bad looking figures. They are both a pretty fair comparison in that regard. I do however think Multiverse has a better selection of figures coming out currently.

How? How can you even say that?

Storm, 90s Wolverine, Apocalypse, 90s Sabertooth, Lizard, Mysterio, Cloak, Dagger, Spider-Man Noir, Prowler, Ghost Rider with a bike, Black Widow with bike, Sauron, 90s Bishop, Omega Red, Sasquatch, 90s Deadpool, 90s Cable, Domino, Doc Ock, and Typhoid Mary...

...but Mattel's outdated offerings of Vixen, Spoiler, Wonder Woman, N52 Harley, Bizarro with some ugly cape ring around his neck, and Lex in a Superman suit are better than the 21 figures I just listed from Hasbro?

DOES NOT COMPUTE! DOES NOT COMPUTE!! DOES NOT COMPUTE!!!
