Mego returns this year with a new line of vintage themed figures modeled to fit in with the original 8″ scale line from the 60’s – 80’s. The line up, which will feature 8″ scale and 14″ scale deluxe figures, will be Target Exclusives. It looks like they’re going after a ton of older licenses. Included are Happy Days, Cheers, Married With Children, The Brady Bunch, Star Trek, Vintage Horror, Classic DC Comics, I Dream of Jeanie and more.

I’m all over Star Trek if that’s gonna be a thing again.
I may be in trouble if the Jimi Hendrix figure is good quality and they continue to make classic rock and pop figures. They could do a bunch of different versions of Hendrix wearing outfits from different shows. They could complete the Jimi Hendrix Experience with Noel Redding and Mitch Mitchell. Maybe branch out with the Grateful Dead, Grace Slick, Bob Dylan, Eric Clapton, The Beatles, Janis Joplin, etc. That would be pretty expensive for me.
Some odd choices. Doing just bits and pieces of so many franchises. What good is Norm without Cliff? Or Peggy without Al? And they f'd up the Fonz - the original had "thumbs up" action.
If Hendrix does catch on, I would love to see some Zeppelin figures, and maybe a re-release of the original Mego Kiss figures.
I am very disappointed, but I know someone who would love a Janis Joplin doll.
CCC.
I'm surprised that batman has made it that far into development looking like that.
