SH Figuarts Harry Potter Line Revealed

Posted on May 22, 2018 at 7:48 am by Joe Moore under Harry Potter Toy News

In an unnamed magazine scan (likely the new Figure King issue from Japan), an entirely new Tamashii Nations license has been revealed, The scans give us our first look at S.H. Figuarts Harry Potter action figures! The first three figures revealed include Harry Potter, Hermione Granger, and Ron Weasley. This assortment of figures is based on their appearance in Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone.

Harry includes a broom, his owl Hedwig, books, and interchangeable hands. He is due out in October. Ron includes his pet rat Scabbers, a broom and interchangeable hands. Look for him to be released in November. Hermoine includes a satchel, a magic wand, a feather, and interchangeable hands. The figures are priced at 6,624 Yen each (about $56 USD).

UPDATE:
Some clearer images have been added. they show off alternate portraits and new accessories for the trio.

The images come to us from Toyzfrontline. We’ll update with official photos and details once released. You can see them after the jump.

Thanks for the heads up. That is a very odd license for them.

These are really cool looking. If they started making more of the team, that would be awesome. A lot cheaper then Star Ace 1/6 scale figures.

I would've perfered the Deathly Hollows since it works with the scale of Figuarts but still, these are awesome .

Oh, SHF, you absolute bastards! How am I suppose to say no to these?! The potential of this line is enormous. Ideally, I’d want figures from the 3rd movie onwards once they started looking more grown up but anything HP is great. A figuarts toy is probably the only one that could really pull off Bellatrix’s poses but I doubt they’ll ever make her.
If Lord of the Rings comes next then I’m really in trouble. An SHF Fellowship would be the tits. Hopefully figuarts will learn from Bucky and cap and be able to do better bearded faces by then.

Man, what an odd license for Bandai. Especially since the movies and books are done.

Well, I don't see myself picking any of these up, but I'm sure plenty of people are going to be over the moon, so cheers to you HP fans

As I saw those pics, I was excited for what could potentially come out after those 3, but LOTR quickly came to mind... The line I'd want the most from Bandai!!!

Not at all. I still have the Funko Legacy figures and every time I see them I pray someone tries again.

The moment someone brought out LOTR I thought "And plese do GOT". We need someone to make both of them justice.

Star Wars, Marvel, WWE, random famous people and now Harry Potter?

    And still. No. Kiva.

I actually watched the HP films for the first time a few weeks ago (I know, I waited a long time) and I said "well even if I liked it enough to buy figures, at least there arent any to buy."

Never Kiva!!! Bandai runs on the tears of those waiting for figures that we'll never get and lines that should have never died 😆😆😆 why will no one give up a good protoman!!! 😫

Kiva is truly the black sheep of Kamen Rider. Being sam'iched between Den-O (massively popular in Japan) and Decade (one of the most polarizing of all series) makes it ultimately...forgettable I guess? At least to bandai. All we can do is hold out hope that one day, just maybe, instead of making a 4th version of Decade or a renewal of a renewal of Ichigou, we actually get a figuarts of Kiva in Kiva form.

Hell, I want shf Rick and Morty figures! Or by figma; I’m not picky as long as they’re show accurate. Those 5 inch funko ones kind of suck.
Anyways, let’s hope we get some teachers out of this HP line. Snape always looks the same so one of him would do for any year and I imagine they’d do the original Dumbledore who may come with Fawkes although I’d prefer the Gambon iteration.

Too bad they went with the young versions of the characters. I liked the more mature looking Harry from the final films more honestly.

Knowing bluefin and how they do figuarts, just wait and you'll probably get more mature looking versions from the final films. If this is a full line, they'll probably make multiple versions of each character, they might even make a different version for each film/book.

I'm really not a Harry Potter fan per se', but I love toys (Most toys I like the property just to be clear lol) and these toys look fantastic!

The Prisoner of Azkaban was when the characters looked their best IMO. Before that they looked too young and after that they started to begin looking a little too old to be playing teenagers.
