Power-Con 2018 Exclusive Masters of the Universe Club Grayskull Uncle Montork and Dree Elle Revealed

Posted on March 30, 2018 at 2:31 pm by Joe Moore under Masters Of The Universe Toy News

The third of three Power-Con 2018 Exclusives has been revealed! They have shared a photo and details for their Masters of the Universe Club Grayskull Uncle Montork and Dree Elle figures. If you missed it, check out the MOTU Exclusive Spikor and Chopper as well. Check out the details below and click the banner for the full reveal.

Say hello to the third of three Power-Con 2018 toy exclusive reveals: Uncle Montork & Dree Elle from the Club Grayskull (Filmation) series!

Sculpted by the Four Horsemen and produced by Super7, Uncle Montork & Dree Elle go up for pre-order (along with ticket pre-sales) on Saturday, April 7th at 9:00am Pacific / 12:00pm Eastern time!

The pre-orders for the toy exclusives will run until Sunday, May 13th. Ticket sales to the show will continue after that date. That gives everyone approximately one month to place their toy exclusive pre-orders. In order to move into production, we can’t extend the end date. All pre-orders are a pre-payment, in full like prior Power-Con events.

The three toy exclusives will all be featured separately on the standard Club Grayskull packaging. You can purchase individual figure releases for $50.00 each. But we will also offer a set of all three for $135.00 ($45.00 each); a 10% discount for the set of all three. We will also have one German distributor available for fans who are interested. Ordering through them will save money for German fans, and should also save money for most western European fans as well.

We’ll have more info as the pre-sale date draws closer! And thank you for your support of Power-Con!

Pretty awesome to have a main character as an exclusive. This will build the ranks up fast!

I can't wait for the next two!

Could not agree more. I was on the line given how the first wave came out, second wave might work as well as tossing a coin; and now this?!!!

He looks like he jumped out of the cartoon.....from that one episode he was in.

These are becoming fun,I was never big in to filmation, but these are catching me.

This character is dated and appears to be kinda racist against Asian people. They should have given him an alternate head.

That's the only way he appeared in the cartoon. And he only appeared once for the exact reason you state. Filmation didn't care for him being what they considered a caricature.

Yeah, that's the first thing that popped into my head when I saw it. Oof.

I see the 3D version of a cartoon character from the 80s. I think when you look for issues, you can usually find them.

This is why there will never be a slave leia figure again.

Many Asian stores and eateries I frequent show the same character faces. I think we need to stop being offended all the time. It is exhausting.

First post for that. Wow. The talented Asian artists that made those works of art would not share your thoughts. And yes I have inquired about them, and they along with the ASIAN owners were very proud of it.

I,along with most people celebrate our differences, not hide from them. The fact you have zero idea my heritage or area of studies shows the ignorance.
    Just freaking sad.

    Now back to toys.

Holy cow! Just saw the last set for power con! Love them!

Not yet unfortunately. These still look like hand painted protos. So probably not until right before the con.

Exactly man, people are way too sensitive nowadays.

It's like they have nothing else to do or accomplish, just look for racism and bigotry everywhere, always searching for something to be offended about.

This behavior doesn't seem to be very healthy for the mind either. It worries me as a fellow human.

If anything, Comedian and Something2day are the ones taking this too seriously. Yeah, I said it looks racist, but so what? It's not like I started championing for the figure to be cancelled or anything. Just stating my opinion which I am 100% entitled to, just like you guys are. If you like the figure, buy the fucking thing. If you don't, don't. Who cares?

    Anyway, back to toys.

Guys I get that there are potential racial issues with the Chopper figure. The character comes from a time when stylized cultural character designs were more commonplace(not that it was right, it just is what it is). So I ask that this be steered back to a discussion of the exclusives. There's no need for a heated argument. If you do feel strongly enough about the character, both Super 7 and Power-Con are active on their social media accounts (Facebook and Twitter at least), and I suggest contacting them directly to raise your concerns.

On one hand, I wish there was a Classics offering. On the other, I'm relieved there isn't. Exclusives can be a pain to obtain. I'm kinda happy these don't appeal to me. They look nice enough though.

Just curious, a question for all of you buffs of the show...was Chopper the animated series' interpretation of Jitsu, or did Jitsu actually appear in any episodes of the original series? I remember Chopper's one episode, but can't seem to recall any of Jitsu's appearances.

  25. Sean C has no avatar! Sean C says

Jitsu did not appear in Filmation other than as "Chopper".

Nor did Jitsu appear in the 200X series.
