Bluefin has announced the U.S. release for the Godzilla Against MechaGodzilla (2002) S.H. MonsterArts Godzilla figure. The movie centers on the appearance of a new Godzilla in Japan. To combat the menace, a mechanized Godzilla, named Kiryu, is built using the bones of the original Godzilla from 1954. Pre-orders begin on November 28th for the new figure. Godzilla stands just over 6″ tall. Check out the official details below and see the photos after the jump.
Bandai Tamashii Nations S.H.MonsterArts Godzilla (2002)
Boasting an overwhelming sense of beauty and range of motion, Godzilla (2002) from the popular “Godzilla x Mechagodzilla” is coming to the S.H.MonsterArts line! Modeled and proportioned through the expert hands of Mr. Yuji Sakai, Godzilla has been accurately replicated down to Godzilla’s characteristic neck shape. Replicate iconic scenes like that from the beginning of the movie made possible by the superior articulation in the neck and head.

Cool! Thanks for the heads up.
Hot damn! This means they might re-release Kiryu!
Finally, although I can't imagine it'll be much different to the Yuji Sakai 2000 release? In any event it's pretty much my fave Godzilla suit.
they seem small? whats the height? and the site in that link, made my browser slower? lol had to reset my cookies
@Topic: It's a sweet suit, if the figure is easy to get for me I might consider it, if it's a Web-Exclusive though I'll just pass.

I saw that comment coming from a mile away and added a "for me" just in case, didn't matter
Well I guess to be fair I wouldn't know where everyone lives. Can't you order something from the US Amazon site and have it sent to wherever you live?
And also in regards to everything getting a bluefin/US release, unless I'm missing something the Space Godzilla/Little Godzilla set isn't getting a US release at all.
The Mothra set, the Battra set, and Godzilla Jr. were released through Bandai's US webshop. It was honestly so costly that it was the same or even cheaper to import the web exclusive of them. Not too miffed about Space Godzilla, I would've bought from Amazon on sale, but not spending $250 or whatever BBTS is charging.

No Kiryu reissue announced so far
Anyways, the figure looks fantastic, but with the widespread QC-issues of this line, I'm going to wait until I've seen plenty of in-hand footage from different people.

On that note, that Godzilla against Mechagodzilla poster recreation is just fucking rad.
Why does the neck look so long in some angles and perfectly fine in others? Well either way, HELL YEAH!!!!
