Mezco welcomes everyone’s favorite chainsaw-wielding hero, Ash Williams from Evil Dead 2, into the One:12 Collective!
The One:12 Collective Ash figure boasts three head portraits with star, Bruce Campbell’s likeness. Authentically presented in his classic ripped blue button-down shirt and brown slacks, Ash sports a meticulously designed shotgun harness. Equipped with his trademark chainsaw hand (groovy!), a sawed-off shotgun, and the Necronomicon (AKA: The Book of the Dead), this figure also includes Ash’s severed demonic hand and a decapitated Deadite head.
Upon arriving to a remote cabin in the woods, Ash is swarmed by relentless hoards of deranged Deadites who want him dead by dawn. Armed with his infamous chainsaw appendage, Ash does what he needs to do: hack and slash his way to survival.

One:12 Collective Evil Dead 2 Ash Williams Figure by Mezco

Ordered. Can never have enough Ashley J. Williams figures.
I really want to like this, but the two regular Ash head sculpts don't really look like Bruce Campbell. The Deadite version of the head sculpt and the accessories are all great tho.
Now I wonder if a lot of the other Mezco one:12 figures we've seen at shows for awhile (years?) will be up for pre-order finally (Ghostbusters, Netflix DD, etc).

While they do really well with their comic book-inspired sculpts, Mezco seems to have a real glaring weakness when it comes to getting the likenesses of real people correct. Like Joe said, the two Ash head sculpts don't look like Bruce Campbell, and the Ghostbusters figures they showed at Toyfair recently had the worst likenesses I've ever seen on modern toys. In contrast, their John Wick was pretty decent, however.
Pass!
hmm outfit looks too big and face has less details. I still waiting for rerelease for hero Ash from neca.
Want but face looks off. Neca looks better face wise and that's a downer.
Ash is the only male horror hero i can think of and always had an affinity for the over the top guy humor
Yeah that doesn't look like Bruce. They may need to reconsider the pricing for some of these figures, $80 is high for this!
The Ash vs Evil Ed set by NECA is almost half the price, you get 2 figures, tons of accessories, and it actually looks like Ash. I'm really surprised Mezco is even making figures that compete with NECA. At least with Halloween, NECA doesn't have the license. But charging $50-55 more for figures that don't look as good? Seems silly
My thoughts exactly. I wonder who would buy this when you can get a far superior product for half the price (or less than a third, if NECA re-releases Hero Ash singly). Even the Necronomicon looks like a Happy Meal toy compared to NECA's. I figure maybe those 3 or 4 hardcore One:12 enthusiasts will get this.
It’s funny, when it comes to horror figures like this Mezco Ash, I feel like horror fans are less likely to pick them up. Like you said, One:12 enthusiasts will buy them. Also though, people that don’t really collect horror, but maybe they like to get a higher end version every once in a while. I felt the same about the most recent Sideshow Toys Jason. It’s not a very good Jason figure, especially for the price...but you see people going ape for it. It’s inaccurate, very few accessories, and the mask doesn’t even come off, all that for $200 plus. So crazy!
Looks like they spent more time writing that ad copy than they did sculpting a Bruce likeness haha
This is awesome, the default head sculpt in the photo is a bit off but the second one has some resemblance to a young ash. I look forward to some Army of Darkness homage.
