Tamashii Nations S.H. Figuarts for the Marvel Cinematic Universe continues this month with the U.S. release of Homecoming Spider-Man in his Home Made Suit. This is another release packed with add-on pieces, this time another wall set like the one that came with the Stark Suit Spider-Man late last year. The good thing about that, you can combine them and build a super-tall wall, or do it up three sided with two roof corners. He comes packed with 6 pairs of hands, 3 webs, hood up/down pieces, the wall set, Spidey logo piece for the wall, and a Tamashii stand that works with the wall and the figure’s back port. It’s another well done piece from the Tamashii crew, and the US bonus pieces are solid. Let’s take a closer look after the break!
S.H. Figuarts Homecoming Home Made Suit Spider-Man
A solid release. I wasn’t super into this look in the movie, but for what it is it’s done well. The option to go hood up/down is awesome. Hands for days let him swing or shoot or chill. The 3 levels of webbing allow for a long swing or a quick shot. Articulation is thorough. Front shoulder swivel, double jointed elbows and knees, toe bend, 3 piece torso. You can get any dynamic Spidey pose you want with him. The wall is the same as the one previously released with regular suit Spidey last year. It’s modular, allowing for re-configuring to different heights. Each panel also has a pop out piece that let’s you plug a Tamashii stand into it, have him swinging around town. It can work great as a quick accent for photography needs, or, add some flavor to your display shelves. Let him rest above your other figures standing up top or swinging over the group.
Bottom line, if you dig this version of the suit, you won’t find a better figure version of him out there in this scale.

Note: The backpack seen in shots below is from the Stark Suit Spider-Man, not this one. But it works with this one.
