Chronicle Collectibles has sent along some details on the upcoming Iron Studios Jurassic Park Statues that they will be distributing in North America and other select territories. The new statues included Dr. Alan Grant and Dr. Ian Malcolm. These will be 1/10 scale statues cast in polystone with a hand painted finish. The statues depict the iconic scene where the T-Rex breaks free from his containment, with both Grant and Malcolm looking to distract the creature using road flares. Dr. Malcom will stand just over 8″ tall, while Dr. Grant will stand just over 7.4″ tall. Each of the characters stands atop a Jurassic Park logo base.
Pre-orders for the statues go live on Friday, February 23rd at 3:00PM Central Time at chroniclecollectibles.com. The statues will be sold separately and are priced at just $89 each. In the future, Iron Studios plans to produce a larger scale Tyrannosaurus Rex Attack diorama, which will feature these two statues. Chronicle Collectibles will be offering any subsequent statue pieces that will complete the dio.
Read on to check out photos of both statues.
Chronicle To Distribute Two Iron Studios Jurassic Park Statues

I don't think they captured either likeness very well.

Aah, better than the Triceratops with indigestion, BUT, did people love those two characters that much to have a statue made? I mean out of all the poses, they decided to go with them holding flares and waving them?
Its pretty weird choices, at least to me.

That was the most memorable scene for me. Before that, it was all fun and game, that was the pivotal point in the movie where it just got real!

Jurassic Park T-Rex by Iron Studios and Chronicle Collectibles - The Toyark - News

So are there any good, large, T-Rex action figures? I want something poseable that can tower over my other figures.
I have dreams of one day pitting the Ashley Wood Metal Gear REX against a same-scale T-Rex.

So to be correct, the ones that they are showing us now will be stand alone pieces? These 3 will not be apart of the diorama that is coming?
If they are stand alone pieces, that is quite expensive. Anyone wanna take a guess at what the diorama will be $$$ ?

Remember that iconic scene when they faced off the T-Rex mere inches away from a gaping abyss? Yeah, me neither.
And look at that footprint there, it's like another one had jumped down.
