Still no indication who the other characters are outside of the big 6, Meat Sweats, and Origami Ninja? I imagine one is Baron Draxum (who isn't in these one shots) but there's another guy with a Foot painted on his face, and he's even on the box of the Sewer.
Pidge looks terrible.
Nice to see Allura though.
Allura looks turble.
The one show that makes me want toys of the pilots more than the machinery, and they fumbled it badly. Unfortunate. The lions look fantastic though, I expected no less!
Why is bumblebee from teen titans in the ninja turtles? Crossing over universes?
So 2018 is the year the turtles died... good run boys. What’s the deal with making the bad ass loaner with authority issues group leader lately? They did it with wolverine and the x men, now the turtles! Great idea put the guy with rage issues in charge, that always works out well.
It just makes no sense, it’s like Ralph and Leo just swapped names and colors. Why freakin bother? Other than names colors and personalities the turtles are (or I guess we’re) physically interchangeable. This feels like the teen titans reboot all over again, go from a kid focused yet well designed and thought out show with a moral core, decent stories, developed characters, drama, and humor in decent proportions to sponge bob level design, no connection, other than in name, to the original, and probably 22 solid minutes of .com era fart jokes that try way to hard to be hip... well folks Just about everything I loved growing ups been bastardized, nothing to do now but sit back and watch the sun blow up.
Are they TRYING to turn us against the Turtles?
Rise of the TMNT? i think it should be changed to FALL of the TMNT...
I like the Easter egg on the arcade machines in the turtle lair... but that's about it haha
Heck yes! Winged Black Lion! Finally!
Now hope they do a metal defender version too, and hope both are compatible to the previous versions.
The figures are still looking sweet too! Glad to see Allura getting a figure.
Really looking forward to the future of this line with what Playmates may have in store for them by next year's too. The show seems to be ramping up for a gladiator and Vehicle voltron cameos. So that'll be sweet to see toys of.
As for TMNT, waiting to see the show before saying anything. On one hand yes it's different, on the other hand, at least it's not the same story they've already told and sold 3 times already in a row. Something fresh and different for a bit will be nice. And then it'll go back to classic lore with much fanfare and adoration. But for now, why not see where it goes and it is for kids anyway who may end up loving it as it's very imaginative with lots of play factors involved and has plenty of room for story growth in how the team changes over time. Really do enjoy that aspect that they're letting Raph take lead for now as the big brother watching out for his little brothers, which could make for some really interesting character stuff later as the dynamic shifts. And that April is still all kinds of awesome.
That turtle lair is pretty neat, and holy crap how huge it is. And this April version finally gets knees and elbows. Why couldn't they do that for the previous Karai. T_T
So, they are rebooting the franchise yet again. Totally absurd. These designs looks terrible
They look like knock offs smh
Need more bad guys. Voltron toys getting lonely.
