I feel like BBTS is intentionally trying to rip their buyers off this time by not offering the case of 8 for $5 more. Something seems to have changed with that company in the last year, and I'm not a fan of it.

How is Dorkside Toys compared to BBTS? They have the case of 7 for much cheaper and shipping is free.

Yeah, not hangin' with BBTS. Their mark-up on the upcoming Mafex Gwenpool figure is f'in insane. The Japanese price is slated to be $70, but the BBTS pre-order price is $94.99, and that's not even including the shipping!

Yeah, forget BBTS. Dr. Kain is right, they're not the company they once were.

Well they did have to pay for shipping to have the Gwenpool shipped to them from Japan, right? $95 sounds fair. It's not like the Ultraman Figuarts where they want $150 for a $60 figure.

Guaranteed that plenty of other sellers will be offering the figure for a lot less. That's where my money's going.

I don't see it being that much less. I mean, if you were to buy it from Japan for $70, you'd most likely have to pay about $15-20 for shipping, so it about breaks even.

Nevertheless, as stated, BBTS has changed way too much. Did they get new owners?

Why not just buy the Japanese figures from Japan? Small figs like this size can be shipped using unregistered SAL for around $3.

Who would want to trust SAL? I might as well just flush my $100 down the toilet.

lol, I used to think like you and always used EMS. But then I started using SAL just to see with my figma and revo figs. I have shipped about 15 products using unregistered SAL and had no issues. The $100+ will always be registered SAL (about $7) and have had no issues there too.

I would rather pay the amount to have it shipped by something speedy (DHL is my preferred). It's already bad enough ordering something from Amazon and having to wait two days for it to arrive, I couldn't imagine waiting a few weeks. It's one of the reasons why I wish I could just purchase everything in person. I give you money now, I want my product now!

That makes sense. It does take a long time for my figs to arrive. In my case, I have a limited budget though. So the EMS to SAL price difference means I can get more figs with the latter. So I go for it But yea, I would like to have my figs fast too if I could afford it!

I always choose Air Small Packet for my AmiAmi orders, and they're usually a pretty nice blend of fast and inexpensive, while also being reliable.

Oh, never used that option. My preferred has been unregistered SAL lol. How long does air packet take to ship to North America?

Speaking of time, sometimes they do ship really fast. I had an order I placed just before Christmas that arrived within a week and a half. But usual time for USAL is 4-5 weeks for me.

Usually like, significantly less than 2 weeks, I think??? Never really kept track of specific amounts of time it took when shipping.

Ditko's Mysterio may be my favorite Spidey villain figure released so far. (Although I did like Prowler & Shocker.) Definitely superior to previous attempts. I really like his little "ankle effects"...however...my Mysterio has very loose ankle joints. Moreover, I might have supposed that the ankle effects might have been designed so as to compensate for his heavy cloak, making him standable.

    ...wrong.
