Posted on January 30, 2018 at 11:03 am by Joe Moore under DC Toy News

Toyark sponsor Big Bad Toy Store has posted up pre-orders for the first two figures being released under Mattel’s DC Comics 6.5″ Scale Multiverse Signature Collection. We previously saw a low quality look at the figures earlier this month. The pre-orders gives us a much better look at the Batman Forever – Batman and The Flash 1990’s TV Series – The Flash Figures. These are due for release in the second quarter of the year, and will be priced at $24.99 each. See details below and photos after the jump.

All the more reason why I wish this line was still 3.75", or at least continued with a 3.75" as well as 6".

That doesn't look a think like Carter from what I can see, but then again the resolution isn't great. That's very obviously and clearly Shipp's Flash mask, though.

Don't know about a facial likeness but that hairstyle is clearly Lynda carter Wonder Woman.

Ok definitely getting that Lynda Carter Wonder Woman. Depending on the likeness I’ll get Shipp as well but then again Multiverse doesn’t have a strong record of facial likenesses.

Likenesses don't look great from these pictures. I also bet there will be scaler issues. Batman's articulation looks hideously incorporated into sculpt. Who the [email protected]#$ asked for a 6" Val Kilmer Batman before any other? These could have been done fine at a $19.99 price point. I don't need extra hands.

$30 for a Val Kilmer Batman in 2018? Ahahahahahaha!

Mattel will take every opportunity to sell $20 figures for $30. Also who came up with that lineup, is there REALLY a huge demand for a Val Kilmer batman forever style
    Batman??

It doesn't seem to make much sense for Mattel to offer figures with "extras" for $30 when Hasbro does the same thing for $10 less.

Also, this lineup, like others have said, is highly questionable. Like "Hey, we gave you the line you said you were interested in and you didn't bite" questionable.

yes because two separate multiverse lines in the same scale is what we need not to mention that each movie has a line of basic figures that is six inches as well but there is no room anywhere for a four inch line? I am tired of toy companies snubbing my preferred scale. Thankfully I can go back and fill holes in my various 1:18 scale figure collections. May as well give second hand market sellers my money since Mattel and Hasbro does not seem to want it anymore.

Interesting to see these three show-up. Definitely going to need more details and better pics. From these tiny shots, it looks like they all have ugly seam lines above and below the knees. Hopefully we'll see more at ToyFair.

If they are like Justice League figures, it would be an easy pass. I may be interested in WW & Flash, but Val's Batman looks awful with that cape and a $30 price tag

You're certainly not wrong but I am curious as to why Mattel would choose Kilmer over other, more popular choices. Maybe because he is done so much less?

So instead of NECA DC Movie we get these? Oh geez....
I’m interested in The Flash, but we all know Mattel’s multiverse figures suck. I do think these will sell way better than the DCEU stuff. Even after Christmas, places are swimming in Mattel “Justice League” figures.
Mattel is a broken record anymore. I compare them to Playmates Toys TMNT figures. Every once in a while another company squeezes out some badass figures... then Mattel wants to cash in...and they fail. I honestly hope the best for them, but damn I wish NECA could have given us a scaled down version of Pfeiffer Catwoman, DeVito Penguin, and Ward Robin.

I am a super big Batman fan but a Val Kilmer Batman figure is the lowest rung on my Action figure wish list. Now John Wesley-Shipp Flash and Lynda Carter Wonder Woman, I am freaking out. $30 per figure, I agree, they better have extras galore because a few hands and a few accessories will kill this line for me. Plus they better get on the 6 inch Burton Batman and Joker figures. I will be hording them like a cat lady . I am still collecting the 3 3/4 inch Multiverse figures as they are my favorite DC figures so far.

So disappointed that Neca never released her in the smaller scale.
