Play Arts Kai Tina and Vincent Figures from Dissidia Final Fantasy

Damn that Vincent looks freakin amazing !! So expensive though, PAK has gone crazy with these prices the past few years. I wont preorder but hopefully he will go on a discount some time after he hits the shelves...
EDIT: Tina figure is probably going to hit the bargain bin though lol. She seems to have the new cape they tried out on the Arkham Knight Batgirl. That cloak was atrocious!!
Well I hope that these new figures from Dissidia will make appear Ultimecia someday. Those look cool but as you said, those prices... (here in Europe the recenly released Sephiroth is 200€->240S!!!)

Tina looks like she is wearing some kind of pyjamas to be honest..... >.>
Totally true about Raiden, and he is around the same height as this guy. They have just gone crazy in recent years with all those Marvel and DC IPs. Last reasonably priced PAK figure I remember that I did not buy in a sale or whatnot was Raiden in fact, so that was 5-6 yrs ago......
@Barnatoys: I preordered Cloud and Sephiroth, but in Sephiroth's case I ended up regretting. At an initial price of around 100-110 GBP, he dropped to 75 GBP (from the Square Enix Europe shop)after 6 months or so. Which is what I am hoping will happen in this case too.

On the price drops, I have noticed the price drops on amazon too. I've seen it drop drastically sometimes too. Once it was with Supergirl who I got for about $80 CAD. But the the price on amazon dropped to $40. I recently saw Spartan Locke PAK drop to $49.99 (he is currently priced at $125) on amazon too.
The issue with waiting for price drops though is that sometimes it gets sold out, and then I end up paying a bit more than the listed price.
1)
You do NOT need to pay 200$ / 200€ in Europe for a single Play Arts Figure
if you order from Japanese importation of video games, PS4 consoles, music CD, figures and mangas - Nippon-Yasan.Com
The Site is best suited for Orders from Europe.
The Customs duty is already included in the Price, and they Deliver right to your Home Door.
I always buy TWO Play Arts Kai upon Pre Order, and my Total Sum is ALWAYS
around 225 Euro / 250$ for 2 Play Arts Kai, Shipping and Customs Tax already included.
However the Prices will Sky Rocket AFTER the Release of a Play Arts Kai.
Upon Pre Order the Price of a Single Figure is always between 85 - 90 Euros.
I never buy Play Arts Kai here in Germany, since the Prices for a Single Figure are...hm i call it "Evil". 150 Euros for a Single Figure is not what i want to spend.
I avoid / Cheat on the Customs with my Nippon Yasan
Customs are always Angry for every Package the can not "Grab" on the Airport.
So Yes, i love Nippon Yasan for avoiding Customs.
2)
Concerning Dissidia Ultimecia:
I think they will do ALL Dissidia Play Arts Kai.
I have already asked Square for the entire Line, especially for Zidane and Kuja
and maybe all Characters Alternate EX Modes. Really would like to own Trance Kuja or Trance Zidane.
But we have already got:
Dissidia: Squall, Terra / Tina, Lightning
so i guess the others will follow.
@Barnatoys if you want to see an Ultimecia Figure, just go ahead and ask Square Enix. Emails are:
enquiry@square-enix.com
support_na_cs@square-enix.com
If enough Collectors Request certain Figures, they will be made. I never thought that they will make Advent Children Cid, but they did.
Because enough People asked for Cid Highwind over and over again.
EDIT: Tina figure is probably going to hit the bargain bin though lol. She seems to have the new cape they tried out on the Arkham Knight Batgirl. That cloak was atrocious!!
Yea, I think they did a good job with the Aranea figure. Also, her joints nicely blend in with her armor and she has a healthy amount of accessories. Felt like the PAK back in the day, although, the price point has increased.
One of my biggest issues with PAK were the stands. The figures are relatively heavy. So to support dynamic posing with the weightier PAKs, the stand would have to be pretty high quality. During my break from the line, I switched to figmas and Yamaguchi line for the very reason of being able to put them in dynamic poses. But they are pretty small and kind of hard to appreciate sometimes unless you take a zoomed in photo.
Many People say "PAK Price has increased" or
"They get more Expensive every Year".
To be honest, This is not true. See my Post above ^
The Price has only increased outside of Japan, because all Vendors
are greedy assholes.
The Price for a Single PAK is THE SAME for many Years.
Every Year i order from Nippon Yasan, the Price of a single Figure
is always 90$-100$, every Year, always. No Price increase, at least not on Pre Order.
But if you wait for the Release AND buy outside of Japan, then yes,
the Prices will Sky Rocket BECAUSE they are also sold out very fast,
because almost every Collector wants to own a PAK.
They are Rare (See Kingdom Hearts PAK sold out very fast) and they have awesome Quality, that is why the Price always goes Insane after the Release outside of Japan.
In Fact, you only have to be fast, Buy and Pay immediately on Pre Order. This way, you save a hell lot of Money, trust me.
My Wallet is always Ready for the next PAK to be shown at these Comic Cons, if they become available for Pre Order
> i buy without hesitation at Nippon, and pay with Paypal, before the Price has any Chance to increase.
Despite having the wrong hair color, Terra is very tempting provided they give us some other FFVI characters.
"They get more Expensive every Year".
To be honest, This is not true.
Source: Play Arts Kai
Those are the MSRP's straight from the source, from Square Enix' website. How did they not get more expensive every other year exactly, when I can clearly see that they have?
What you need to understand is that you pre-order with a discount from the MSRP, which retailers apply to sell their stuff better. If anything it's not "greedy retailers" but the exact opposite: You're only able to buy these figures for as cheap as you do because retailers apply discounts instead of selling the figures for the MSRP which Square Enix suggests for their PAK's.
It's obvious that these figures have become more expensive. It's a fact you cannot deny. I'm happy that NY gives people great discounts on these figures, maybe that helped you in not noticing that the prices increased, but they did.
Then everybody has to Pre Order the Figures with a Discount.

To Complain and say "The Price is to much for me, i can not buy"
because if you wait for the Figure to be released and then buy it afterwards with a High Price, it is your own Fault.
In Fact EVERY good Collector KNOWS, that ALL Prices will Sky Rocket
after the Release; Bandai, Mafex, PAK, 3A, 3 Three Zero.
In a short time after Release, the Prices reach unbelievable Values, that no mortal Person can spend anymore.
For Example Kingdom Hearts PAK Roxas Organization XIII Outfit > should be around 250$ by now.
That is because almost every Person on Planet wants to own
such awesome Figures > thus Figures are sold out pretty Fast > Price will go high.
Do not be Stupid;
- put some Money aside NOW.
- wait for the Comic Cons to show Prototype
- look at your Shops every Day and wait for the Offer
- Pre Order AND Pay a fast as you can
> Problem of "Price is so damn high, i can not afford it" Solved.
It is really easy, as long as you keep Track of the Comic Con Pictures here at Toyark,
watch the Prototype on Pictures, and then wait for the Pre Order Offers at your Vendor.
Some People here say, that Collecting Figures in overall is an almost Impossible task, because of the Price.
It is not, as long as you are fast enough on hitting the Pre Order and Pay Button
It also doesn't change the fact that they do regularly raise the price for these, discount or not.
because if you wait for the Figure to be released and then buy it afterwards with a High Price, it is your own Fault.
after the Release; Bandai, Mafex, PAK, 3A, 3 Three Zero.
If a character is popular then yeah, chances are the figure will sell out and is then only available for a markup. But saying that "ALL Prices will Sky Rocket" is complete crap, and masquerading that nonsense behind a confident "EVERY good Collector KNOWS" is rather annoying.
And again, no, not every item will reach "unbelievable Values" that "no mortal Person can spend anymore.". You're highly exaggerating for reasons I don't understand.

Not every Character is popular, that is correct.
But from what i saw, almost EVERY Character from Kingdom Hearts and Final Fantasy
is sold out so damn fast. Vendors have REAL Problems of Restocking
when the Figures hit the Stores.
Try to get Sora and Roxas (Without Coat) PAK from KH2 > good Luck with that,
because there will not be a Reissue.
You must spend 250$ - 300$ for getting one.
Reissue is always a Gamble, maybe Square does an Reissue, maybe they do not.
I would not bet on it.
That is why i always say "Buy it as fast as you can"
I heard many Collectors / People cry because of
"I can not afford this Figure" or
"I can not get it anymore, because it is sold out everywhere, i was to slow"
Be Fast, that is an Important Advice that will save your Ass, trust me.
And concerning other Shops and the Price Tag:
No, i will NEVER buy from Square Enix Shop
because they are assholes and the Prices are Ridiculous, at least everywhere in the
European Country > That is what i can confirm, when many People say "The Price is to high".
If i would Import PAK (And Pay Customs Tax / Duty) or would Buy Figures
for the NORMAL Price like 150 Euros, i also could not afford this anymore.
Try to find a Shop like Nippon Yasan, or Hobby Link Japan and such, that
give massive Discount, and you will be good. They are not Scalpers, in Fact their Strategy is really good.
Everything else like Prices at Ebay, Amazon and Square Shop itself are really really greedy.
Do not fall into that Trap. Because i also did Years ago, before i found Nippon.
Ordering for 6 Years now at their Store, before that
i also paid that High Prices, like you know it for around 150 Euros for one Figure.
