I've never looked forward to a Multiverse figure as much as I'm looking forward to Two Face and Batwoman. Boy, I hope this turns the line around.

LOL. Nice packaging, good looking figures, but while the CnC is totally a good choice, I can't help but notice that it looks like they're packaged with plastic turds...especially Two-Face.

    Great news....BUT

Where was the build up by Mattel? Why not launch the line with a big emphasis on the improvements. I saw ZERO interviews....just leaked photos until now.

THis looks so close to perfect and what fans wanted for so long.

It looks like those talks with Hasbro a month or two ago lit a little fire under Mattel as the improvements to the figures look to put them almost on par with Marvel Legends. This is about the best that I have seen some of these characters looking without resorting to the various designer lines. The new packaging is great as well as it leaps out and grabs your attention.

My only worry is the distribution on these. The King Shark Wave was nearly impossible to find in stores for a long time with me, which had me giving in to the scalpers to get the guy. I have no interest in Clayface but I really do like that Two Face, and I have a feeling that him and Batwoman will be the two that everyone will be clamoring for. The Superman looks great as well.

Well, if these are truly representative of the final figures then consider me also impressed with Mattel's progress. I like the look of the Icons Rebirth Superman better but this effort from Mattel still looks quite nice.

disappointed on superman's face the prototype had a superior head
with a realistic mature look on it now it looks cartoony. i can see they improved the articulation
and changed the overused old superhero body mold

actually this face sculpt is better than the Essentials version. this does not look cartoony at all.

Wow the production Superman looks awful.... From the waist up he's fine but you can clearly tell where they attached the new style legs and hips, they're slightly too small as well...

I have a feeling with this new swing of direction I'm going to regret not picking up more of these DC Multiverse figures up until now.

Blue is also a way better color for DC, and toy packaging in general.

Wow I'm impressed. Improved hips and knee articulation, they actually come with accessories. Step backwards with the elbows an the ankles are the same, but I like the new boxes and improvement is improvement. These make me actually wanna pick up the wave, they look that good. I could get that J'onn for the Black Mercy alone. I can't believe how long it feels like its taken to get some flat palm flying/running alt hands in a superman figure. Batwoman and Two Face are going to be very easy buys. If this is a beginning of a Hasbro Legends style line revival and improvement, I'm all for it. I have little to none DC figures because the offerings are usually just so bad. If they continue in this direction, that could change.

Glad to finally see this wave! The packaging looks great, loving the blue! Hopefully it won't be too hard to snag Batwoman and Jessica Cruz.

Two-Face in non-bifurcated clothes is infuriating.

The new packaging is really nice, and the figures are definitely adding to my slowly-increasing desire to get into the Multiverse line, but in terms of Superman, I'll probably wait until/if they get to Superman's 2nd Rebirth costume, the one he started wearing after Superman Reborn. That, to me, is the perfect non-trunks Superman costume.

Personally I like the repainted version in the Gotham City 5 pack that was orange and purple

I think I'll get Batwoman and Jessica Cruz, seeing as it looks like we won't be getting the Icons version of the latter and who knows when we could see an Essentials Batwoman.
