Tonight we are taking a look at another Extreme Sets Pop Up diorama, “The Building 2”. This is their second full building offering, this time one story tall. The Building 2 can be combined with previous building / alley environments to build out your Extreme City. It can be configured in a square with a roof attached to mimic the building, or, opened up to act as building fronts in a backdrop scenario. We’ve also cracked open the Ground Pack, a separate release with panels for three types of flooring – concrete (seen here), metal grates and sewer panels. Read on to check out some additional thoughts and images of it in use!

Overall Thoughts
Of all the Extreme Sets out there now, the urban / city environments are my favorite. The Deranged Alley and Building 1 are great, and this one fits right in. I do like the tallness of the Building 1, but it’s a big set up and can’t easily be grabbed and set up quickly. This one story building is much easier to manage. If you set it up as a building, use the Building 1 folded out to create background buildings and alleys. The rooftop design and how it folds together was better, but it still isn’t super quick and I won’t be doing it often. The good thing, you can take this roof and apply it to any other standard 4 panel Extreme Sets piece, like the Deranged Alley. That way you can get different building walls with a rooftop in your shots. Folded out, it works great in 2 panel set ups for a 1-4 figure shot (photography wise). Bottom line, great set, worth getting in your rotation!
