Next up in our look at the latest round of Extreme Sets display dioramas is the Animated Port Pop Up from Multiverse Series 4. The set looks to be inspired by what the docks looked like in Batman The Animated series, though it is not directly based on it or anything else. It works with 6/7 inch figures perfectly and comes with a huge single piece background, along with 3 containers that open up and several crates for scattering around the scene. Any kind of urban environment figures will work here, Marvel, DC, Turtles and the like. Read on to check out some additional thoughts and pics!

Overall thoughts
I dig the set more than I thought I would, it allows for getting our urban warriors into some new scenery. Batman, Punisher, Spider-Man etc work great here. I love the sunset theme, as you can see below in photography terms it allows for some great light play. If you are using it in a collection display and have lighting available, I’d suggest getting some colored lights, orange/red/yellow to make the scene pop.
One big negative with the set IMO – the folded backdrop. It’s huge and the art is really well done. The fold lines kill it, for both the photography and display angles. I know that would make the set expensive to ship, and these things are expensive to ship as it is, but those lines running right through the sun limit what you can do. It reduces the usable area to thirds at a time, unless you want to clone out the lines every shot. Possible, but not fun.
Anyway, read on to see what can be done with the set in normal and fancy lighting scenarios, then grab yours over at Extreme-Sets.com!
