Pre-orders have been opened for the new Batman: Ascending Knight One:12 Collective Figure coming from Mezco. This version of Batman is loosely based on the first appearance of Batman, and includes an interchangeable Bruce Wayne head sculpt, multiple interchangeable hands, six batarangs wrist crossbow with tranq darts, and a grappling gun with hooks. A stylized figure stand will also be included. The figure is scheduled for release between January and March of 2018. It’s priced at $80 and you can pre-order it by Clicking Here. See the full details below and the photos after the jump.
Every Knight has a beginning and the One:12 Collective’s Batman starts here. Batman—Ascending Knight is part of a trilogy: A beginning, a middle and an end. The Ascending Knight is Batman in his first year; designed to be contemporary but still have a first appearance feel. This is the Batman of 10 years ago, as he just began his war on crime.
At the start of his crime-fighting career Bruce Wayne is still working things out, finding what works and what doesn’t. Some of his tech and gear is still a bit unfinished and raw. His Bat Suit is bulky, showing that he has not yet fine-tuned it.
Of course the design pays homage to Batman as he first appeared in Detective Comics. The shape of his cowl, the shorter gloves and the smaller symbol on his chest are all inspired by his original debut in the comics.

Mezco One:12 Collective Batman: Ascending Knight Behind the Scenes

Oh the tingles. This might be my favorite design by Mezco, and dare I say one of my favorite unique designs for Batman intended to convey an actual person in the suit. Has just the right amount of "He's crazy, and crazy dangerous" in there to make it work. And the accessories are very nice to boot.
Never had a Mezco but I really like this design!
They should have probably released this "sneak peak" before showing the figure and then showed the figure, its not that exciting now that I've already seen the figure multiple times, the accessories might be new but thats it
Looks great even glad to see it in better light saw it posted on Fb first and really love Mezco doing behind the scenes with their figures wish they would do that with all their figures.
This figure pulls me in more and more each time I see it. I really like the crossbow too, not something you see Batman with often. Still not sure what that giant folding bad is supposed to be though.
Yeah, what is up with the "bat brick"? Is that based on something from the comics?
Maybe he uses it to smash through the glass before he drops in?
When will these be available, and will they be as hard to get as Classic Punisher?
Mezco, C'mon already, Iron Man!
Looks cool. Reminds me a little of the Season 1 Batsuit in the Telltale game.
this is looking great! hope they release it on time.
I've always loved Batman's First Appearance design. (purple gloves and all) It made him look more like a creature of the night. Awesome to see a reimagining of it. Mezco stuff is a bit out of my price range but this is shaping up to be an amazing figure!
Mezco One:12 Collective Batman: Ascending Knight Pre-Order - The Toyark - News

I've got a few of the Dark Knight Mezco One:12's and love them, wasn't initially sold on this figure but after seeing new pics, I just pre-ordered off of BBTS, cannot wait for this now.
It's like a blend of Keaton and Conroy/Batman TAS, and that's just perfect.
is this the first of a 3 action figure set? if so does anyone know
what the design will be for the next 2 figures?
what the design will be for the next 2 figures?
Also, they did do a DKR Batman (and color variants), and a BvS Batman, but this will be their take on the concept of Batman in his 40s or 50s, rather than a direct adaptation of a specific appearance on the page/screen.
I think if they wanted to do variants for "Batman Prime", then the pre-New52/2000s suit would be the most likely candidate since they could reuse most of the parts and costume patterns to do a bronze age Batman.
And I own two versions of the DKR Batman and the standard BvS version so I'm well aware that they've already done that concept. It was just a rumor that I'd heard and passed along. One thing to consider though is that the Batman Beyond figure could be the end version or Future Knight. Bruce did wear the suit before giving it to Terry.

Batman doesn't wear laced boots. I hate mezco's boots, i know it's a stylised take on popular characters but i think it's an excuse sometimes the boots make all the difference.
The bat brick is apparently just a big ass batarang for clobbering fools. Seems like it would give pretty good ouchies if not partial decapitation.
