First look! Today we are taking a look at the next wave of S.H. Figuarts Street Fighter V characters – Cammy and Rashid. Neither are out yet, but they are due for an August release in Japan, the States soon after. Produced by Tamashii Nations, they grow the SFV line up from the first two Ryu and Chun-Li. Read on to check out over 95 HD images of them, FIGHT!
Overall Thoughts:
First off, both of these were sample copies, so they weren’t structurally what will be available at retail. I won’t go into mechanics specifics due to that. Generally, they have the great range of movement and articulation found in S.H. Figuarts figures, both the initial Street Fighter ones and overall. Rashid is a bit bulky with his baggy pants but overall he was way more fun to pose up and play around with than I was expecting. The face sculpts are great on him. Cammy is also pretty bad ass, but no pun intended, her ass is a bit weird. Functionally she works as a fighter. All moves and positions can be achieved. However, to get there, they went with a weird method for her thong based cheeks. It’s basically connected to her upper and painted to her skin color, so the result is flesh colored ass armor. I am no engineer so I can’t say I know how to do it better while keeping the full range of articulation. From the front, and as a poseable action figure she’s great. When in stance mode on the shelf from behind, ass armor. Take it for what you will.
Bottom line, as fighting action figures these two are superb and go well with the first two. We already have 2 more teased with Akuma and Mika at SDCC so hopefully the SHF roster will go deep.

Early Look - S.H. Figuarts Street Fighter V Cammy and Rashid - The Toyark - News

I want that cammy
IMO, this is a horrible Cammy. I ll wait out for the Storm version... >.>
now these look awesome, both of them actually. cammy turned me on alittle lol
I find it strange how every Original Street Fighter character so far looks really bad. The new character Rashid looks pretty good out of all of them, he's the only one who actually looks like the in-game character model. SH Figuarts have been doing such a bad job at making the Street Fighter line.
I can't wait for Storm Collectibles version of Cammy. I also hope they make Juri.... I already pre ordered the Storm Collectibles Chun Li, she looks excellent.
Interesting figure. Tony is right, that ass IS weird-looking, but like he said, I'd be hard-pressed on how to do it better. Overall, Cammy looks good, however. Fantastic action photos, BTW. You really captured the spirit of the games with 'em.
Questions:
1. How tall are these figures?
2. When is Cammy scheduled to be released?
3. How much will she cost?
I agree with most here, this Cammy doesn't look very great. The sculpt is ok but that is a simple and rather flat paint job. Almost doesn't look finished. It is sad that the newer character Rashid looks more accurate to his on screen sprite than the ones I'd actually want. Seems to be a few teams at Bandai working on figures, these Street Fighter figures are on par with most of the cheaper Dragon Ball figures or even the newer WWE figures they're doing, while a better team of sculptors gets the Marvel and Star Wars license, those figures get way more detail in the sculpt and paint. I got my Storm Collectibles Ryu for cheaper than the SH figuarts one and it's way better. Just hope Storm works out their qc problems.
Cammy looks great! I noticed her legs have that bumpy z brush texture and it unintentionally looks like cellulite in certain shots but not a deal breaker.
I think it's a strange unspoken rule in the Japanese figure-collecting community/industry that female figures NEED that kawaii anime face, no matter the source material.
We've seen this enough time to write it off as singular cases.
Revoltech Spider-Gwen's bizarre unmasked face that looks 1) nothing like any artwork she has, and 2) doesn't even fit scale-wise with the rest of her body, yet you see Japanese collectors commenting that "at least she has a cute face". Dafuq?
And with this Bandai line, we have Rashid's extremely game-accurate look, Ryu's pretty game-accurate look, and Chun and Cammy's butchered faces that look nothing like the in-game models.
Luckily, we still have Storm to fall back on, and since they're not Japanese, they don't seem to be adhering to the same "standards".
Yeah, the more I look at the legs/ass on Cammy, the less I want this figure. It's kinda gross.
Awesome looking figures. Agreed on cammy's ass. Looks too weird but if you want great articulation sacrifices have to be made somewhere.
Btw. Rashid generates that wind with his feet and not his hands.
i likes em both.....
and will be purchasing..
can't wait to see what the line looks like in a year or two
Rashids toe hinge joints look horrendously cheap. What hell?! A figure at this price point shouldn't have articulation this poorly engineered.
