I would have gotten that alternate Supergirl statue if they hadn't tattooed her up like that. What is up with that?
OK so each comes with appropriate stand/some accessories. I am down for this line, especially the Nightwing.
I am concerned with the Superman. That is a very detailed paint job, and the jaw lines are very distinct on the sculpt. If the paint job does not properly match it, it will be a situation like with the DC Icons Superman where the sculpt seems odd because the paint isn't there to complement it. I remain hopeful for the (rather high) price point. Hopefully places like BBTS will sell for $23.99 like the Icons.
It looks like early samples on the DCE figures. THe paint looks really of and some of the seems look no flush. I think it looks great for early samples.
Nightwing looks nice. It looks like they will give stands and a cardboard background. I hate when companies don;t make use of the inserts.
I do wish for my Classic Supes and some Classic Movie figures, but at least this is a starting point.
My preference is always accessories over stands. I'm dubious of those stands being packed in because of the customizations but we'll see. They look like they pose up really nicely. Only thing left for me is to see how they stack up next to my current collection.
Hopefully they have some New Tv show figures on display this weekend.
Harley Quinn expression pack & Jokermobile <3 <3
We've got the Jokermobile... Captain Clown HAS to be on the horizon, right?
The bases are cool, but no yellow S on the back of Superman's cape? WTF?
What about additional hands?
The Essentials figures look good. That said, I really don't think those display bases are actually a part of their release. I'm pretty sure they were made just for convention displays. Seriously, look at Superman's. It looks like they glued some torn up cotton balls onto it. I'm also pretty sure most of these are just slightly modified stands from the canned DC films line of figures.
I would wager that the display stands being used for the Bombshells figures are also convention-only display pieces.
The Gotham City Garage Supergirl is pretty tempting. Especially knowing about her part in the upcoming comic.

This isn't the first time DCC has done custom jobs for a Con. When the Arkham Origins figures were displayed at one of the Cons, all of the figures had snow painted on their boots. They've also made an Arrow cave with Oliver's original suit on display for another Con.
Lame about the bases not being for the actual figures. Do they have alternate hands then?
BTW, I just realized that is totally Wally West Flash. He doesn't have the wings on the boots and the belt is the angular one that Wally has.

This stuff all looks really good and creative. I hope they include the stands with the figures, they make them so much better
My only realy hope for this line atm is for DCC to have better communication and over-all relationship with the factories.
Hopefully someone will ask them about hands this weekend.
It would be cool if each character had unique sculpts like DC Icons, but that line ended up tanking. The lack of sculpt for Superman and the Flash's emblems is unfortunate but if using a basic sculpt as the base for more figures works better for them economically, and keeps the line going, I'm all for it.
Hope they have more Animated Batman stuff. The expression packs are cool, but I already have the regular versions, so they aren't a must have. Very cool anyway, and the Joker mobile is fun. No new characters though
The comic figures are cool, but just not my thing. The arkham line is done, single carded Animated line seems to be done, dang.
The Bombshells line is very cool! I would love to see an alternate version of Mera with the more ocean look. Also a bomb shaped stand seems like a no brainer, it'd look good with any of the Bombshells.
I believe they said the Animated line was ending.
Bombshells is looking good, love Black Canary and Zatanna. Essentials looks like it could be promising, not thrilled with the character selection on display though at least they learned their lesson from Icons about not including WW in the initial wave(s).
whats the size on the dc collectibles? that joker expressions looks awesome! and that DeathStroke is wicked.
The aesthetics of the Bombshell line is too flippin cool.
Hmmm, not sold on the Essentials. Gonna have to wait and look out for their panel.
does anyone know if the expressions faces work with the other purple animated joker figure? not liking that joker with the coat
Regarding the base, I'm 99.99% sure they aren't coming with the figures. At least not the way the photos show. They have a homemade craft look, implying that they were created for sdcc.
