Mondo Previews SDCC 2017 Reveals

Be interested if their Turtles didn't come out so terrible for the price
I will need to see more Batman TAS, but so far so good. I did miss out on the Turtles though. Went with DreamEX instead.
I'm having enough trouble collecting the DC 6" line.
There are some things Mondo nailed with their TMNT figures so far, but other design aspects that are head scratchers. And the price point, if these were $130 I'd bite, but $150 up is too close to Hot Toys territory and Mondo hasn't been in the game long enough to command those kinda prices. Need to see how this Bat turns out, this is my favorite iteration of the character and I hope Mondo nails it, but if there's the QC and design issues with this like their Turtles, I'll pass.
These Mondo figures are way way way overpriced. Hasbro has proven they can give us a 12" figure for a way better price. The Turtles they did were not the best either. Its like they just threw in a bunch of accessories that are useless to justify the price. NECA did it right with the Turtles. All they are is just repaints of the mold.
The knee and ankle joints scare me. I think Mondo may struggle with this one, but I really hope they don't. Those turtles though, what a nightmare.
Funny how mondo can make their 12 inch Animated Series Batman have great articulation even paint shading like the cartoon but Dc collectibles can't even do that with any of their animated series figures. Even the fact a lot of them can't even be posed or stand up without the need of that horrible stand base they give the figures.
But for a 12 inch figure, it's awful. The joints are hideous and the proportions are off.
What were the issues regarding the Mondo Turtles? I was interested but I ended up passing on the line in favor of Neca's movie line. I thought the Mondo ones looked pretty good but I'm not familiar with the QC problems people are referring to.
