A huge update was posted by Super 7 regarding their upcoming Masters of the Universe Ultimate Figures. The figures, which went up for pre-order last year, have finally arrived in the U.S. The shipping containers are currently awaiting inspection by customs. They should be shipping out within the next few weeks. The bigger news, however, has to do with the packaging for the figures. For reasons you can read about below, the decision was made to produce the figures in packaging that will not be resealable. Check out the full update below.
Attention MOTU Friends and Fans!
At long last, the Masters of the Universe Ultimates figures are nearing the end of their journey into your hands!
The figures have made the long ocean trek to the Port of Oakland, where they are currently waiting to clear customs inspection. This process will take 3-10 days depending on the level of customs inspection they get assigned, and following that, they will go to our shipping facility to be sent, at last, to you.
We expect to begin shipping orders to you beginning on July 20th (or earlier!), and for the shipping process to take several days to get the large volume of orders out to everybody. Shipping confirmations, including tracking numbers, will be sent out for each order as they are shipped.
We cannot overstate how greatly we appreciate your patience as we built up our infrastructure and process around taking over the MOTU Classics line! Thank you again so very much for hanging in there. We are very pleased with and excited about these figures and can’t wait to get them into your hands.
We have also received some questions about the blister packaging for the Ultimates. Our original intent was to package the figures in a resealable clamshell blister. In the production of the figures, the original model for the resealable blister failed the packaging drop test in safety testing, and the factory was not willing to proceed without modification. At that point, creating new molds for a revised resealable package would have added 4-5 weeks to the production schedule, and we were already rushing to get these figures into your hands. So we made the choice to instead use a vintage MOTU inspired, heat-sealed blister package so we could avoid any further delays.
Again, we want to thank you all once more for your support and patience, and assure you that your figures will be in your hands in the coming weeks. We love them and hope you do too!
Thank you again.

Masters of the Universe Ultimate Figures by Super 7

Great!! I wanted a Teela for a long time. If they're not too expensive I'll get an extra He-man & Skelly too.
These all look great.
If they do an Ultimate articulated Battle Cat, I will.
Yea I guess still need a battle cat. At the time when I got he man back.before Matty Voltron was made, B.Cat was going for $75 on bbts so I said fuck it.
These do look decent but I'm looking for more of the Filmation cartoon figures. I'll order Ram-man and Teela for sure. But THE ONLY REASON I might get another He-Man/Skeletor, is because all my He-Man are sealed. I have MOSC copies of 1985 "original" He-Man (2nd run in original line), the 2001 Battle Blade He-Man, 2008 Matty He-Man & Skeletor and the Filmation He-Man & Skeletor. So I may buy these to open and pose.
I'm really hoping we get a rerelease of the Filmation MOTU Classics He-Man. I really like that figure, but I didn't have the subscription and I'm not wanting to spend $200+ for it.
I'm thinking these will be around $35 like the Four Horsemen Mythic Legions figures. Sure, these first releases probably don't justify the price since, as was pointed out, these are all old molds and accessories, but they'll likely keep the same price for new figures going forward.
I'm still really disappointed that these "Ultimate" editions do not come with the Filmation heads. Can't have an ultimate edition without those.

I figured I'd want these, but the Filmation head sculpts are what I'm really after it seems. Got the original Skeletor and Anti-Eternia He-Man at least...
I wish they had spread out the releases of the Ultimates a bit. I wanted to get them all but won't be able to afford them in the two weeks orders are open. I had to content myself with my two biggest wants, Teela and Ram-Man.
It's a shame, if these were pay later preorders or spread out a bit like Mattycollector's subscriptions, they'd have made a ton more money off of me.
Are these just re-releases of the Mattel ones with more accessories? If so, I'll pass.
Yep, I want all 5 but I may only get 1 or 2 because of how it's set up.

Super 7 Masters of the Universe Ultimate Pre-Orders End This Week - The Toyark - News

cool set. would have been nice for the pre-order set of 5 to be at least $170. It's just the same price as each figure individually.
Question. I am not a He-man Collector. As a kid I watched the show regularly but Have been wondering. What was the purpose of Faker? He could not Pass as He-Man Being Blue so what was the deal in making him look like He-Man except the Blue Color? Who was he supposed to Fool?
I will say the packaging is pretty awesome. I wonder how they are going to fit all of the accessories in them though.
It's just a mock up, not really going to be hard to fit the accessories, especially if they sit them in a plastic tray.
Masters of the Universe Ultimate Pre-Orders Extended - The Toyark - News
Hey question, did they change the sculpt on one of Skeletor's hands? How is he supposed to dual wield his swords with only one gripping hand?
