Back at San Diego Comic-Con 2016, a tan Warrior Alien was revealed by NECA. Many fans (myself included) suspected that this was an homage to the Pizza Monster from the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles cartoon. It now appears if those guesses were spot on! NECA has officially revealed the San Diego Comic-Con 2017 Exclusive Sewer Mutation Warrior Alien.
UPDATE:
Full details and more photos released by NECA.
Deep in space, something is happening at a remote Weyland-Yutani scientific outpost! The terrible coincidence of a power outage and a deep space radiation has created a new Xenomorph… one that’s right at home in the pipes and tubes of the station’s sub-levels. The Sewer Mutation Warrior Alien stands over 9″ tall and features over 30 points of articulation and a bendable tail.
Limited edition of 3,000
Price: $30This figure WILL be available to Alien Club members and at our booth at SDCC. It will NOT be available during the online presale that starts on 6/20.
A full post about the SDCC pre-sale will be coming on Monday 6/5 – look forward to it!

Sewer Mutation Warrior Alien - NECA San Diego Comic-Con 2017 Exclusive

Detailed sculpt? Check.
New articulation? Check.
Creepy yet awesome paint application? Check.
This is exactly the type of SDCC exclusive that I can get behind, mainly because it's a neat/fun exclusive yet it's also non-essential. More toy companies need to follow suit with ideas like this (looking at you, Hasbro).
Looks pretty cool! Might need to start picking up some Aliens NECA...
Nice paint/colours!
Neat
Updated post with more photos & details.
For all the people (including me) who are wondering WTF the "pizza monster" on the TMNT cartoon was, I guess they threw in a homage to Alien in some random episode:

This is a really great idea for a SDCC exclusive for the reasons The Heat already said- it's neat/fun yet non-essential.
So. An Alien's been swimming in the sewers and it turned yellow/brown. Should we just call this "Poop Alien"?
Looks like the Warrior designs from Requiem so I'm definitely excited for a reveal of a traditionally colored one in the future.
If anyone is a Alien Club member and wants to buy an extra one for me, I would pay cost + shipping + a little extra.
What the hell is this from?
Awesome, but I'll be hitting mine with a more 'cartoony' - vivid yellow.

God dammit. These SDCC/NECA club exclusives suck for Australian collectors. Going to get stuck with $200 scalper prices. Really despise NECA for locking us out.
Sadly I learned during my time in community college that it a dying actively. I actually got weird looks from people because I was reading a book.
I could understand it purely as an incentive for the Club, maybe. But even that's asking a lot from fans who have been laying down ever increasing money for years.
It's not like you won't have Asian bootlegs within days... why enable those twats any further?
I totally understand the BS licencing that goes on, but I'm not sure they couldn't at least sell this one direct.
As stated before, it's also bloody confusing for fans trying to obtain lines they've spent so much time and money on!
'Is X Con only? Con and Club? Club only? TRU exclusive? Regional exclusive? NECA store only? Available on eBay?...' It's ridiculous for Americans, never mind the rest of the world - we'd need to be writing shit down every couple of days to keep up!
I think they're doing it this way so the Club members feel like it was worth it to join. I, however, did not join, nor do I feel like I missed the boat. What I will end up paying for this on eBay will still be cheaper than what they charge for shipping.
