Hot Toys Teases Spider-Man Homecoming Figure

They also tweeted a hint that he won't be the only thing coming out from this movie. Presume they'll Vulture, or at least a proto of one, and maybe Shocker?
Spider-Man: Homecoming - Homemade Spider-Man Suit Figure by Hot Toys - The Toyark - News

I want that Homemade suit figure so much, it is hard to express in words. But I've never bought a Hot Toys figure, or a 1/6th scale figure before, so I'm not sure if I'm even ready.
I just noticed that his makeshift costume is similar to the 90's Scarlet Spider, except with inverted colors.
lol if SHF or Mafex made that I would probably buy it.
A shame that the zipper goes right through the middle of the spider logo. If I was the designer, I'd have replaced the jacket hoodie with a quarter-zip.
This may be a good first Hot Toys fig since the clothes look flexible.
Spider-Man: Homecoming - Iron Man and Spider-Man Figures in Magazine Scan - The Toyark - News

anyone know the price of this when it releases?.. looks amazing.
Same approach as the Mk 46... PowerPose version announced and released first. Will be holding out for the inevitable MMS version personally, but it's great to get a good look at the armor.
Spider-Man: Homecoming - Iron Man Mark XLVII Power Pose Collectible by Hot Toys - The Toyark - News

Is there really a market for these Power Pose figures? I mean what can you do with them that you can't do with an MMS which can also do wayyy more than a PP. Annoying that the 46 PP came out forever ago and were still waiting for the MMS 46
As an aside to the figure itself, I don't really like how every new Iron Man armor is just becoming sleeker and sleeker to the human body with no definition. At least this one has a different color scheme, but in a few more movies, what's the point. It'll just be a red/gold/silver body suit.

Yeah, each time one of these gets announced, I'm always a bit surprised. The only one I have is the Red Snapper, which I bought only because I assume there will never be a MMS version.
And heck yes on the wait for the Mark 46... I placed my preorder on April 19, 2016. Still looking at a 3rd quarter 2017 release, and I'll bet it will be later than that.

Standard Version
Deluxe Version
Of course there's a deluxe version. Figure looks great as I would have expected. Not really sure I'm all that interested in it though.
These companies need to figure out how to have this shit ready for release time. I know license holders don't let them, share them, etc, but a year+ from initial release kills it for me. If that was out week of movie release, I'd prob get. Down the road, it'll be "eh, I don't need it". I like to live in the moment with whatever is out, have things on display to reinforce that.
SHF Hulkbuster, HT Kylo, One:12 BVS, all super after the fact.

Went from being my most-anticipated toy of the last decade to 'eh, whatever'.
The problem with the long wait for release for me is that by the time these come out the character in question has had a new movie (or several) come out. When I buy expensive figures like these I want it to be the definitive version of the character, but it's hard to nail that down with the movies coming out quicker than the toys. So far I've waited for a franchise to end(or reboot) and then buy the figures from Hot Toys, or older franchises that have been dead(but still loved). Some characters are probably safe from this like Coulson, Fury, and any of the alter ego figures (although a Stark without the Arc reactor would be nice).
