Shiro Yoshida grew up with a huge resentment against the United States. His mother was exposed to the radiation of the atomic bomb at Hiroshima and she died during his birth. His dad, a member of the Japanese Clan Yashida, became a diplomat to the United Nations and Shiro was pretty much raised by his uncle. Shiro’s uncle Tomo took him to a site in Hiroshima, and got him to touch the ground. There, the radioactive soil somehow triggered his mutation. Shiro trained for months before he was able to control his flame fully. His uncle Tomo was purely anti-America. He instilled his hatred upon Shiro and is responsible for giving him his costume and codename of Sunfire.

Marvel Legends X-Men Wave Sunfire
Pros
Good Head sculpt
Good Articulation
Cons
I wish Hasbro would start using unique weapons and accessories for each figure and put away the reused parts
Overall
Sunfire is one of the lesser known characters of this X-Men wave but is a big upgrade from the Toybiz version. Better head sculpt and availability for fans who missed out on this figure the first time around. Not a huge fan of the character myself, but there are so many hardcore X-Men fans out there I don’t see any figure from this wave sitting around.

First up is Sunfire

The Sunfire you're referring to is also a Hasbro figure - there was no Toy Biz Sunfire.
The accessories thing shouldn't really be a knock against the figure, since 1) they work quite well for him, and 2) reusing parts is a grand ML tradition that lets them pump out as much product as they do.

Toy Biz 1998 Marvel Giant-Size X-Men Action Figure the other Hasbro version that's clear is not that bad and a different design altogether.
I could care less how many filler figures Hasbro forces us to buy to get to the core designs the majority of casual fans want. My days of buying everything that Hasbro puts out are long gone. I want quality over quantity and I'm willing to pay for it.
I rarely keep up with Marvel Legends figures these days (lost interest), are the fly joints a recent update? That's a pretty interesting addition. It's a damn shame they were added five years after the line restarted but it's cool to see regardless.
It's odd, many of the older Toybiz ML figures had perfectly effective fly joints (the old Spider-Man figures come to mind), you would think they would have set a new standard.

I don't mind Hasbro reusing accessories so much as I dislike them reusing so many body parts & then claiming they still don't have enough budget for more unique sculpts (especially for MCU villains).
Colossus is up next.... Solid figure but that hipster beard alt head sculpt makes me want to headbutt broken glass.

The bearded look is from the recent Extraordinary X-Men. He wore it with a white ribbed shirt that blended into his steel skin too much.
The awesome Old Man Logan is up next!

I didn't really want anything in this wave but I figured I would pick up Logan if I found him, because I'm a big fan of the short, stocky, hairy, Canadian who isn't Puck. Hot damn I am glad I found him while grocery shopping on Saturday.
Up next is one of the best X-Men designs of all time... Cyclops

I love the Jim Lee outfit the best, but I kinda like it when he just wore the outfit and regular ruby sunglasses instead of the visor in the comics.
Also, I would've liked them to focus on movie figures when the line is meant to support a movie. Starting with the iron man 3 line, that was pathetic. But it hasn't gotten much better since then. You get a bunch of non movie figures and a movie figure here and there. I mean villains? They can barely release a set of the good guys lol.
I wish they'd let bluefin sell figuarts stuff in toys r us.
The First X-man, the best X-men! And this is the best representation of his best costume. (I'm a big Cyclops fan, in case you didn't guess). I totally dig this figure. Of course, now I want a Jim Lee era Jean Grey to go with him...but she's crazily expensive! Of course.
I always forget how much Marvel writers were clearly high when they came up with that convoluted explanation for how Cyclops' powers work.
Despite that, still an amazing figure.
Shatterstar is up next.

Dazzler turned out to be cool.

Wow, Dazzler really turned out pretty awesome.
Overall, Hasbro's ML stuff is so much better than the DC Multiverse garbage that Mattel is shitting out that it's not even funny.
