Hmm... seems a little undersized to me.

Wait... that wouldn't be a new head on the Luke would it?! Oh Hasbro...

    Off scale, and unfortunately underwhelming.

what the fuck is even the point if you can't fit everyone in it LIKE HASBRO WE'VE ALL SEEN THE MOVIE THATS WHY WE'RE BUYING THE TOYS LIKE WE KNOW WHO IS SUPPOSED TO RIDE IN THIS SHIT. its like why even gather data from surveys and shit when you constantly get shit wrong.

hey lets release the rey we should have released 2 years after the fact.
hey lets add a new head to luke and give him a one person speeder and sell it for 25-30 dollars more that it's worth. just because a box is bigger doesn't mean the price should be

you take jabba out the box and its just one figure with no accessories nowhere near worth anything that they charged for it, ive seen cheaper hunks of plastic.

same thing with biker scout. when its all said and done and loose, there's nothing sitting in front of you that warrants a $40-50 suggested MSRP initially (i got my biker scout for like $15 and jabba for like 20, three years of sitting and the price finally dropped.

cant wait to pick up all those unsold walmart ATST's for like $10- $15 after they've sat for two years.

Seems like they did a 3.75" scale vehicle and packed it with a 6" figure, right?

Any chance S.H. Figuarts Luke will fit in better?

Y'all know the Landspeeder is *reeeeally* small, right? Like, 11-feet-long small? If you actually go back and watch the scenes with the Landspeeder, this is pretty much on-point.

Looking at this next to the Kenner version, the scale seems fine to me. I don't understand what people were expecting scale-wise...

The sculpt seems strangely flattened, and definitely out of scale. The old version from the 1970s was better proportioned and looked less beat-up.

I'll bet you a dollar that Figuarts is about to release their own versions of this landspeeder and Rey's soap bar.

That would be awesome, but I don't think we've seen any SW vehicles from SHF aside from Darth Maul's speeder they displayed a few shows long ago.

The Landspeeder wasn't very big in the films. I think people are just remembering the Kenner version which was larger than scale.

Judging by the pictures, I think people's grievances are less about actual scale and more about how the seats look a bit too snug to fit two figures

In addition to the "remembering the Kenner toy" thing, I think the angle of the pictures may be making some people think it's a bit smaller and flatter than it is.

Bandai did release a Figuarts Biker Scout with Speeder Bike last year.

It still looks a little small to me. Looking at the clip above it kinda makes me sad that the Black Threepio is so matt-finished, he wouldn't look anything like the actual movie scene if he was sitting next to Luke.

It is also really really bugging me that Hasbro keep 'fixing' faces on these more exclusive releases. Hey Hasbro! Try getting it right first time!

Just speculation... or something more concrete?

Does anyone know what the new Figuarts R2 is like?

Two new 6" vehicles, not bad for a dead vehicle line.

The scale is fine, at most it's 10% too short. It should be two Lukes long and it's hard to tell given the angles. It might be a bit snug but I think you will be able to get two figures in there too.

Reminds me too much of the original kenner LandSpeeder scale- Just short enough to look out-of-whack. I'll still end up buying it- But I'll be ticked if they do a larger scale release later down the road.

Length looks fine, its 3.4m tip to tip according to wookieepedia, and Luke is 1.7m tall. Stretch that figure out and it looks pretty close to half the length of the speeder.
Photo is from Jedi Temple Archives Facebook page.

It looks like the bonnet (hood) and the rear panels will open. I hope they give it a little more in the way of features than the 3 3/4 inch version.
