After the debut of the newest (and seemingly spoiler heavy) Spider-Man: Homecoming trailer, Diamond Select Toys has released photos of their newest Marvel Minimates. There will be both comic shop and Toys “R” Us assortments of Spider-Man: Homecoming Minimates. Each assortment will offer their own exclusive 2-packs. Included are:

  • Spider-Man and Shocker
  • Peter Parker and May (Comic Shops)
  • Battle Damaged Spider-Man and Tinkerer (Comic Shops)
  • Iron Man Mark 46 and Happy Hogan (Toys “R” Us)

These Spider-Man: Homecoming Minimates 2-packs will be released this Spring. You can see photos of the two assortments by reading on.

    May?

    As in Aunt May?!?

I know Marisa Tomei is the hottest Aunt May ever, but that figure of "May" looks more like Peter's girlfriend or little sister!

Or is there another character named "May" in the movie?

Nope, that's Aunt May. But he just calls her May.

All Minimates are the same size, and it's not like Marisa Tomei is covered with wrinkles. You can see the smile lines by her mouth and eyes on the Minimate.

I hope that's only like an early version of Shocker. If they go without giving him some form of his yellow outfit it'll be a damn shame.

I was thinking the same thing...I was like, "THAT'S the MCU version of Shocker?" Bummer.

I'm a big fan of Spidey's scrub villains such as Mysterio, Jack O'Lantern, and Shocker. I hope they do Shocker right in the movie. You actually see this guy in the new trailer, but I didn't know who it was until just now.

How dare you sir! Much like Flash Spider-Man doesn't have scrub villains.

First off Mysterio is one of Spidey's main/classic villains, he was one of the original founders of the Sinister Six. He even got to be THE main bad guy in one of Spidey's best video game outings. Plus in Sam Raimi's original drafts/concepts for his Spidey films (before Sony stepped in and overcrowded part 3) he was gonna be played by Bruce Campbell as a side bit!
Re: Homecoming Shocker; I really liked Bokeem Woodbine in Fargo season 2, he pretty much stole any scene he was in, so I'd like to think he'll make Shocker enjoyable enough on the big screen. With regards to his costume though I have seen some supposed "set leak" photos of him actually having a costume but I take those with a big grain of salt. However, we did get to see another supposed look at his costume from Toyfair via the packaging for some youth toy for Homecoming, this could though just be something they did for the toy packaging.

Love the Vulture/Homemade Spidey set. Shocker looks super plain, maybe they haven't revealed him fully yet. I too thought May looked a bit young lol I still can't believe Marisa is Aunt May, she is way too hot for that part. She's hotter than Peter's love interest IMO.

Before I read the article I assumed the female figure was an unannounced Mary Jane...

I can see that but as far as I know they haven't said if she's gonna be in the movie or not.

Oh shit, that's Bokeem Woodbine playing him? I've dug his work ever since he did that Forest Whitaker-directed HBO movie Strapped a while back. Interest +1.

Plus, are these the shots you said you saw of his final costume? If so, they look pretty legit: https://www.comicbookmovie.com/spide...coming-a144992

Yeah those set pics of him made me so happy, I love seeing that he looks similar to the comic book one, enough to satisfy fans.

It's his movie 1 starter outfit. You can see the start of the Shocker feedback suit on his arms. So the suit may grow and evolve as he makes appearances later. Spider-man isn't like the other Marvel movies where they have to kill off all the bad guys per movie. Spider-man is more about having them arrested at the end. So Shocker will probably survive. Especially if they want to do Sinister 6 later, though it seems like movie 3 will lean heavier on Goblin.

Zendaya was cast as Mary Jane ages ago. She's been in every trailer.

Zendaya was cast as "Michelle," and while its possible that it's a red herring and she's really supposed to be Mary Jane, she looks and acts nothing like Mary Jane.
