Star Wars Black Series may be going old school with the 40th anniversary celebration later this year, but we still have some non-ANH figures to get to before that kicks off! Today we’re taking a look at the latest 2 Rogue One figures to drop – Baze Malbus and Chirrut Imwe. Arguably breakout stars from the film, their Black Series figures shine as they are complex and layered. Both face sculpts are above average for Black Series levels, which coupled with their unique sculpts head to toe make them winners. Let’s take a closer look after the break courtesy of Dorksidetoys!

Star Wars Black Series Rogue One Chirrut Imwe and Baze Malbus
Great figures. The bulky sculpt and diesel gun on Baze and the face sculpt and soft goods on Chirrut make these guys shine. It was fun having these guys bust up a pack of Troopers and they’ll do nicely for you too, standing proud or in the thick of the fight! Bottom line, awesome. Check the pics below and pick em up when you can!

They eyes actually aren't too terrible here. Paint looks pretty clean on the outfit. Liking the new backdrop a lot.
Man I can't wait to get mine come Thursday night.
I'm surprised no store has had this stuff stocked yet like they did last year with The Force Awakens.
Nice pics, like the new backdrop a lot.
Very interested in the movie, not much so in the figures... but that group shot has me hesitating! Nice picture shoot, as always
She'd probably look more like Felicity Jones with some shading on her face. Or at least more like Gemma Arterton like the giant Jakks version.
I've got mine already! Check your Walmarts.

That is one cool figure. Impressive that they managed to pack all that articulation in given the design, which I would think would make it difficult.
I'm really liking that droid.
Yeah, it's a winner. Super impressed with the articulation, and looks cool AF.
I think this will be my one 6" purchase for this line, really like the design and articulation!
Love the new backdrops! Especially the red one for the Death Trooper. How is that lighted?

Ewww...I always thought that the Death Trooper figure looked off in the first place, but when you put him up next to the original trilogy Stormtrooper, the proportions look way off and it becomes more evident. I was originally excited for this one, but now that has been tempered a bit.
Yeah, isn't he a little...skinny for a Stormtrooper? I agree, he's way too lanky and his proportions are way off. Plus he's missing the bad-ass web gear that the Death Troopers wear in the movie. Not impressed.
I have to disagree because I think that thing is one extremely badass looking figure.
I am currently using the TIE fighter pilot from The Force Awakens as my Shadow Troopers/Death Troopers, and they fit in rather nicely. I am kind of hoping that the head to this stuff to her makes it to a casting site somewhere and is recasted in a slightly larger scale. I think it would look great on that particular figure as a sort of custom placeholder for my ranks, because overall, I'm really not digging the design or proportions of this guy.

Anyway, the Death Trooper Specialist is apparently a Target exclusive:
