Today we’re taking a look at the second Wave 1 Multiverse Collection Diorama from Extreme Sets, The Sewer Pop Up. Like the Deranged Alley we checked out yesterday, The Sewer set features 6 panels that can be combined in different configurations to act as a continuous backdrop on a shelf or folded to show corners of a room in photography set ups. It comes with 2 additional 3D Pop Up concrete barriers. While there are singular situations and characters from various toy lines that could work here, it’s damn near perfect for anything Ninja Turtles. Read on to check out some additional thoughts and over 35 shots!

Overall Thoughts
I won’t go into specifics on how the whole system works again, please see my thoughts in the Deranged Alley review for that (hint, they’re great). Specifically related to the Sewer Set – the artwork is great, rich colors on the rusty pipes mixed with large pipe openings and broken walls really convey the feeling of being in a sewer, especially when lit with moody lights. For what it is, it’s perfect, but it’s use is limited compared to the Deranged Alley set. TMNT of course always works here, but beyond that you just have to want to tell a story in the sewer, either on your shelf or in some toy photography shots. It’s executed perfectly for it’s intent, I just dig that Deranged Alley more for general purpose use. But really, having all these on hand and ready to go is optimal for toy photogs.
