The Flash and Arrow TV shows from DC have been great, giving us an alternate extended universe before the movies could get it going for themselves. Supergirl moved into the universe and DC Legends of Tomorrow took all the side characters and made them their own stars. DC Collectibles have been pumping out figures to compliment them for a bit, and today we’re looking at a recent release of the two main characters, Flash and Arrow in one box set. I haven’t jumped into the TV lines much personally but wanted a representation of the shows on the shelves and figured this would be the perfect chance. Overall
As I said, I haven’t jumped into the TV figures until now. They weren’t quite there for whatever reason, didn’t tickle my fancy even though I watch the show religiously. That being said, the line up of supporting characters for all the shows is growing, and if you did go all in you would have a pretty kick ass TV Universe line up. I figured I had to get at least Flash and Arrow since they started it all, and having them in one 2 pack is easy. Flash is rocking his season 2 suit with the white symbol and comes with an unmasked head. Arrow is rocking his season 4 suit which is much more refined, a bit more tactical. Both have slender realistic molds at the 6 inch scale with mid-range articulation. The face sculpts and paint are a tad on the weak side. Aside from that, the rest of the figures are sharp and have a nice stance on the shelves. Arrows bow is diesel and functional, I flug the arrows at myself several times doing these shots. Only nitpick with Flash is that it’s difficult to get him in a running position, and when you do, it doesn’t scream running. The articulation limits that. They are great for standing there looking posterized in your line up, so if you want to rep the TV universe, worth a pick up. Check em out for yourself below!

I know Grant Gustin has those pretty boy lips but this looks almost like makeup. I like the molds for DC Collectibles but they always go big/colorful on the lips.
Good for those that missed them the first time round! Hope they consider doing more two packs like this over time for those that missed out on initial releases.

I would honestly get the skin tones touched up (redone)..and i'll love those..
Instead of an unmasked head they should have sculpted a new masked one that isn't so freakishly small. Especially since his "hood" actually is bigger later in the series.

Great figures, but how do you do a Flash photo shoot and not include a running pose? Unless that's what 26 is supposed to be...
