Final Fantasy VII Remake – Cloud and Barret Play Arts Kai Figures

New photos and details have been released for the upcoming Final Fantasy VII Remake – Cloud Strife and Barret Wallace Play Arts Kai Figures by Square Enix. The new figures are being released ahead of the highly anticipated remake of Final Fantasy VII. The Final Fantasy VII Remake will be an action role-playing game for the PlayStation 4. It is a remake of the classic 1997 PlayStation game Final Fantasy VII. It will retell the original story, but with modern updates to the gameplay, audio, visuals and story. The original game follows mercenary Cloud Strife as he and the anti-trust group AVALANCHE battle against the corrupt megacorporation known as Shinra, and the rogue former Shinra soldier Sephiroth. A release date for the game has not yet been revealed.

Cloud Strife will stand at nearly 10.75″ tall and will include his Buster Sword, multiple interchangeable hands and a figure stand. The buster Sword measures nearly 10″ in length. Cloud will be released in April 2017. the figure will be priced at 14,800 Yen (about $123 USD).

Barret Wallace towers over the Cloud figure, standing over 11.6″ tall. The figure looks to be light on accessories, including only a single interchangeable hand, a pair of sunglasses and a figure stand. Barret is scheduled for a May 2017 release. He will also be priced at 14,800 Yen (about $123 USD).
