SH Figuarts Dark Knight and Suicide Squad at Tokyo Comic Con 2016

Posted on December 2, 2016 at 8:38 am by Joe Moore under DC Toy News

A few DC Comics Movie S.H. Figuarts were on display at Tokyo Comic Con 2016. There weren’t many new DC figures from Tamashii Nations, but we do get a great look at the new Suicide Squad Deadshot. Also on display were the previously seen Dark Knight Batman and Dark Knight Joker figures. There were other Suicide Squad figures on display, including Harley Quinn and The Joker.

No details are available at this time. The images come courtesy of AmiAmi News & Dengeki Hobby. You can check them out by reading on.

UH, Tamashii skipped BvS for Suicide Squad?! Bad Tamashii, BAAAAD!!

Jokledger & Bat-Bale are looking good.

Dark Knight Batman will be an instant buy.
I was a bit skeptical about the Joker, but this pic makes him look pretty good.
As for Deadshot, I really don't know. I have the MAFEX one on preorder and from the looks of it I think I like the MAFEX one a little bit better. Wait and see!

Thank you for posting these images. If all is as it seems, this will be a perfect Dark Knight representation of these characters. Probably expensive as heck, but it should be worth it.

The Dark Knight Batman looks awesome! I may spring for that one, depending on the accessories. Personally I'm not really into the new DC Movies. So I appreciate that they are mixing it up a bit.

The Ledger Joker still looks just okay to me. The outfit is barely detailed and the head sculpt is meh. There are no stripes on the pants at all?! Compared to the NECA version, this Joker really falls short. The only thing you gain is articulation, and you'll pay around $35 more than the NECA version. People who are 6" scale collectors will probably love it. If SH offers a Batman Begins Scarecrow, Ras Al Ghul, or Dark Knight Rises Bane, I will be very happy

While I pretty much completely agree that the NECA Joker looks better (although the SH one seems to be handling the makeup smearing more accurately) it's limited release nature means that unfortunately for many it wasn't ever really an option.

Does someone know if there will be an Unmasked Christian Bale Head added to the S.H. Dark Knight?

I hate how Bandai Tamashii pulls out these Figures in every Way.
They are TO SLOW...not Slow, TO SLOW

I would not say that Bandai Skipped the Batman VS Superman Figures,
see how old the Dark Knight Movies are? And Bandai produces a Dark Knight Figure NOW. Why not Years ago???

I want my damn Figures right on the release with the Movie OR
at least an announcement so that i know, which Company i should buy from Mafex OR S.H. Tamashii

If no unmasked Head is added to S.H. Dark Knight, i will not buy this Figure, since iam very Happy with the Mafex Bale Batman.

I KNOW that S.H. has better Quality than Mafex, everything is better
    from Bandai Tamashii.

But what they do, is shit. They keep quiet until Collectors Burn they Money
on Mafex Figures and then few years after "Oh Yeah guys, here we have an even better Figure for you".

I miss these times, where Figures from different companies were announced around the same time, so that I AS A COLLECTOR could choose.

I have bought Mafex Batman Figures now, because they look awesome,
i can not wait for my Unmasked Ben Afleck Batman ( Desert Outfit ),
because i hope that the unmasked Head can be attached on normal Version of Batman.

But if Tamashii ever comes up with "Oh yeah Guys, right, we skipped BvS Figures, but now here they are" i really get Angry, because
a Toy Companies Main Objective, should not be playing around with customers, but to Push Figures out as Fast as they can,
and not keep being Quiet for YEARS and suddenly say:

"oh guys, remember that Movie, that is so many Years old?? You already bought Figures, but now, Years after, here you have our Version"
    This kind of business sucks.

At least with The Dark Knight being such a praised film it is understandable that there are still toys getting made every now and then, especially if a company missed the boat back in 2008 when the movie was new.
